Berry Best

This week at Creative Knockouts our theme is anything goes.

I used Spring Strawberry from Star Stampz for my project.  The image was colored with Copics.  The sentiment is from the Silhouette Design store and I just colored it and printed it instead of cutting it.  I colored a white flower using the matching Copic marker.

You have a chance to win 2 images from Star Stampz just for playing along.  The badge below will take you to the shop for a browse.

Sparkle and Shine

This week at Creative Knockouts our challenge is make your card sparkle and shine.

I used Lady Sierra from Star Stampz for my project.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I used a product that was new to me from Queen & Co for the gold foiled pieces.  It is called Fun Foil and it only requires adhesive to add the foil to a surface.  No heat, no toner...just adhesive.  Just make sure that you put the correct side on the adhesive...not that I am speaking from experience or anything. =P  I added clear Wink of Stella to her head piece, cape, and dress embellishments.  You can't see it in the picture, but it all has a great glittery sheen.

In the Clouds

This week at Creative Knockouts, our challenge for you is to use dies or punches on your project.

I used Balloons and Ice Cream from Star Stampz for my project.  I colored this sweet girl with Copic markers and cut her out using my Silhouette Cameo.  Does that count as die cut?!  The cloud topper was created using a stitched die from A Muse Studio.  This is one of my favorite dies.  I use it for clouds and for snow!  I stamped the sentiment directly on the glitter paper using StazOn ink.

You have a chance to win a fabulous prize of three images from our sponsor just for playing along.  You can click the badge below to check out her shop.

Letter for Santa

This week at the Crafty Gals Corner, our thee is Anything Christmas Goes.  So you have free reign as long as it has to do with Christmas.

I used Santa's Letter from Star Stampz and colored it with Copic markers.  The image was cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  The background paper is from the Echo Park Winter Wishes collection which is available digitally from Snap Click Supply.  The sweet letter and envelope is from the Spellbinders Card Kit from November 2017.  I went with a non-traditional color palette and I love the way it turned out.

With a Flourish

We want your projects to have a little flourish this week at Creative Knockouts.  We want to see your fun and fancy flourishes.  I can't wait to see how you interpret the challenge!

I used Spring Ladybug from Star Stampz and colored it with Copic markers.  My flourish is one of my favorite embossing folders, D'vine Swirls.  I used some Core'dination card stock and sanded off the top layer to expose the red core.  It gets a little messy, but it is so fun.

A Little Embossing

We have a brand new challenge for you today over at the Crafty Gals Corner.  The challenge this week is to use embossing on your project.  It can be wet or dry embossing and can be a little or a lot!

I used English Lady from Star Stampz and colored her with Copic markers.  I had to use the Silhouette to cut her out so her gorgeous skirt could stick out from the oval.  I used dry embossing on my card because I make a complete mess when I use embossing powder.  I also love the look of dry embossing and I have more embossing folders than I care to admit to!  I also embossed the die behind her which was cut from some gorgeous sparkly paper.

We have two fabulous sponsors with two fabulous prizes up for grabs.  The badges below will link you to each shop in the event that you want to take a look around.

Love Is in the Air

Hello!  It is time for me to share another project for the Crafty Gals Corner.  Our challenge this week is add some sparkle.  Sparkle is pretty easy, so pull out your crafty stuff and play along with us.

This week I used Winter Kiss from Star Stampz.  Aren't they adorable?  She sure has him twitterpated!  My sparkle comes from the die cut from glitter paper, the sparkly heart button, and some glitter enamel dots.  Maybe I should have used more!!  I colored this adorable couple with Copic markers and fussy cut them by hand.

Cocoa or Coffee?

Hello everyone!  Time for another Crafty Gals Corner challenge.  Every challenge this month is anything goes to keep it nice and simple during this crazy, crazy time of the year.

I used Cup of Cocoa by Star Stampz, however...I am a bit partial to coffee so I decided she was really drinking coffee and ran with it!  This little cutie was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette Cameo.  I also printed the sentiment using a Silhouette cut.  I popped in to see what was new in the store and saw the sentiment!  It was absolutely perfect for this image so I had to have it!  Good thing they are running a sale of all winter and Christmas cut files!

We have two fabulous sponsors for you this week.  Click the badges below to go shopping.

Birthday Celebration

Our theme for the challenge this week at Creative Knockouts is Birthday Wishes.  We want to see your birthday projects!  We are always in need of birthday cards so this is a great time to stock up!

This is my project using My Sweet Rose from Star Stampz.  She was colored with Copic markers and cut out using the Silhouette.  Originally I had intended to use a die to cut her out, but I had an accident with my BV25 marker!  When I pulled the cap off, it spritzed my paper!  There were little spots of BV25 everywhere!  Luckily, most of it ended up on the background and I just had to cut the image out to get rid of it.  The embossed panel is actually the debossed side.  Both sides are wonderful, but I felt the debossed side fit my image a little bit better.  I love how different each side looks.

Star Stampz is our sponsor this week and you can click the badge below to shop.  I know if you pop over there, you will have a wish list a mile long.  I know I do!
