Gates

The plan for late last week was to stop and take some pics of gates on our way to Hobart (1 1/2 Hours drive from home) We had a bit of rain over night and the weather drizzly with rain when we left

Both these pics taken just before Triabunna (1/2 hours drive from home down coast)

And this is what we encountered a further 1/2 hours drive along, half the road closed due to flood waters...and when we came home at the end of the day we didn't even have any puddles in our backyard!

Paper!

I have been thinking for a while now about this paper challenge, and remembered this morning the paper clip necklaces we made in primary school, so had a trip to Mums to see if she had them.

Of course Mum still has them! Also found a paper covered tin I made Dad for fathers day back when I was a Brownie! The old magazine underneath is an Australian Home journal dated July 1st, 1953

The paperclips are wrapped with colourful contact paper

Just couldn't resist a few quickly made newspaper roses and taking a pic with them amongst the Allysum!

I really enjoyed this challenge and my little trip down memory lane!!lol!

Eggs!

I have been struggling with the 'egg' challenge, our 3 hens haven't laid in such a long time, so I thought I had better go with some crafty eggs

2 little felt egg bunnies made a few years back

But a miracle did happen...miss 9 discovered this late this arvo! Thankyou Lucy or Penny! Lol!

Rust

I have been very slack with my challenges, life just got pretty busy! I have quite a few rusty items around the garden...

My watering can amongst the yellow marigold and....
A little pair of pincushion shoes

I couldn't resist a pic of my little rusty chook, part of a windmill.

Starting With J!

These pictures of the 'Jetty' are taken at our local beach...'Jubilee Beach'. This particular beach is on the Main street in Swansea Tassie, and where most of the tourists and locals go in summer for a swim...except me because I'm always worried that Jaws might be in the water!... lol! My boys also spend alot of time fishing off the end of the jetty and have caught many a fish!

Orange

Not a lot of orange in my garden at the moment, only the pansies. I took some pics of the little mushrooms and fungus yesterday on our bushwalk when we went camping.

Clocks

Not many interesting clocks in our house, but this is one is quite special as the kids bought it for me one Christmas...it hangs in my country kitchen/dining. I just love it!

Bicycles

A bit of a mix here.... My daughters bike, a gift from Santa a few years back, but hasn't been ridden a while...far too cold for her!
The boys spend most of their time on their motor bikes, enjoy riding through the mud!!

And a miniature, under my lemon-scented Darwinia.
Bye for now
