30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 28

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!

Love this time of year and our tradition of spending time with friends from college who have become family, it's such a great time that always makes us happy and rejuvenated after our festivities.  I did want to take time today to share my gratitude card and it's my last fall themed card for the year.  This card uses the Autumn Expressions stamp set and coordinating dies, which are fabulous!

For this card the cardbase is Mossy Meadow cardstock and then I took a piece of Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper as the cardfront and it's matted with Cajun Craze cardstock.

For the stamped image I stamped the greeting on Very Vanilla cardstock with Cajun Craze ink and then cut it out with the dies.  I used the same dies to cut the gold pieces to make the frame and faux chain using Gold Foil sheets.  Once attaching to the cardfront with dimensionals I added a few of the Faux Glass Dots as an accent.

This card, it's perfect for fall and all the grateful feelings I have this time of year.  I hope you and your family are able to have an enjoyable day however you choose to celebrate!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 18

Good morning,

It was a fun weekend and so happy to get to see our kiddo a little bit (unplanned trip but so happy!)  Of course I'm back with today's gratitude card and this one was fun because I used most of the same products as the card last Wednesday, this one's just stepped up a bit.

The cardbase is Pecan Pie and I added a piece of designer series paper from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper that's matted with Mossy Meadow cardstock.

I added a belly band of DSP using the pattern on the reverse side of the paper and matted also with Mossy Meadow cardstock.  Note:  between today's card and Wednesday's I used 1 full sheet of the 6"x6" paper.

The greeting is from the Something Fancy stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock before being cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I used dimensionals to attach the greeting to the cardfront.

The final touch is a bow tied with Pecan Pie 3/8" Center Stripe Ribbon.

Loving the fall feeling of today's card!

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 14

Good morning,

OK so with the weather finally cooling down I'm definitely embracing fall and all the fall things, which are reflected in the past couple of days gratitude cards.

The cardbase for this card is Mossy Meadow and then I added a piece of the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper as a cardfront that's matted with Basic Black cardstock.

The main stamped image is on Basic White cardstock that's matted with Mossy Meadow.  I stamped the outlines of the leaves in Basic Black ink and then used Mossy Meadow and Pumpkin Pie ink to fill in the leaves (this is a separate stamp so it's super easy!)

The greeting is on Basic Black cardstock and I used Versarmark and White embossing powder for the image which is from the Layering Leaves stamp set.  After embossing the greeting, I cut it out using the Nested Essentials Dies and then attached it with dimensionals.  The finishing touch are some green dots from the Faux Glass Dots (yes, I know I used them again, lol!)

I was so happy with how this card turned out and the heat embossing always dresses up a project.

30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 4

Good morning and happy Monday,

We have a crisp fall day in store for us today which I enjoy and fits perfect with the card I designed for today.

The Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder is an Online Exclusive that was released last year and is an unsung hero.  As soon as I saw it I was trying to figure out the best way to show case all it's beauty, the answer...gold foil!

This card starts with Basic White Thick cardstock for the cardbase.  Then I took a piece of Gold Foil and embossed it with the embossing folder (check out all those leaves!!) and matted it with a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock.

The greeting is from the Autumn Leaves stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Basic White.  I added a small strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock before the greeting before attaching it with dimensionals.  The final touches were a bow tied with Linen Thread and a couple of Pecan Pie Dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive Backed Dots.

I definitely did the happy dance with this card, love the simplicity and just letting the gold leaves take center stage.

Paper Craft Crew Inspiration Challenge #593: Autumn Expressions

Good morning,

The leaves changing color and falls arrival are the inspiration for this weeks Paper Craft Crew inspiration challenge.  The Splendid Autumn Designer Series paper is perfect for all your fall projects and I love it!

This card uses Mossy Meadow cardstock and then I used Cajun Craze cardstock as the mat for the DSP (it's so beautiful I had to let it be the star of the card).

The stamped image is from the Autumn Expressions stamp set and was stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock.  I used the woodgrain stamp to stamp the background using Crumb Cake ink and stamped off once to make the image lighter.  Once I was finished stamping I cut the piece out using the Deckled Circles dies and then attached it to the cardfront using dimensionals.

To finish off the card, I added a bow out of Wild Wheat 3/8" Rustic Striped Ribbon and then added a few Faux Glass Dots as an accent.

This card turned out just lovely and perfect for this time of year and letting someone know how much you appreciate them.  Make sure to check out the other cards the design team is sharing for inspiration and we would love for you to share what you create using this challenge.
