Good morning all! Today is Sunday, which means that it's time for another Crafty Ho's Challenge! That's right, a great group of friends of mine, the 'Ho's', created a challenge blog called Crafty Ho's Challenge Blog! Each week on Sunday we share with everyone more creations using the same challenge as inspiration! This week our challenge is to use Bright Colors - Yellow, Blue and Green!
For my card today I decided to use this adorable turtle image from Whimsy and Stars Studio called Little Birthday Turtle. I thought that this image would be perfect for this challenge too, so cute and fun to play with! I also took the time to join in on this weeks Ribbon Carousel Challenge which was to follow the sketch below.
Be sure to check out the rest of our great group of Hos, I know their creations will be fabulous!

Scoops!
Good afternoon! Today I have a card to share with you that I made for two challenges going on right now. The first challenge is the current MFT Sketch, I am loving these sketches. This one took me a bit of time to get into, but once I got an idea it all seemed to come together. Here is what I was to be working off of.
I wanted to use this adorable PI image and when I realized that I didn't have the little alphabet or the other banner dies that MFT has I decided to improvise and use the banner dies I did have. I also pulled out my Here's the Scoop stamp set and used the ice cream scoop image to create a banner of ice cream! I mean what could be better then lots and lots of ice cream?!
I do hope you enjoy what I created, I had a lot of fun with a challenging sketch, but I think it worked out in the end.I also wanted to play along with the current Ribbon Carousel Challenge, which is to create a card that is clean and simple, and I certainly think that this card would count for that. Not too many layer or embellishments, just the bare necessities and lots of cuteness!
I had so much fun with this card, it reminds me of all the warm weather and hot days. Have a great day, and thank you for stopping by!
Stamps: Make Mine a Double and Here's the Scoop form My Favorite Things; Paper: Whisper White, Lemon, Rose Red, SU! Pattern Pack II; Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, E00 Skin White, E77 Maroon, R85 Rose Red, RV55 Hollyhock, E15 Dark Suntan, N1 Neutral Gray No. 1, Y02 Canary Yellow; Accessories: Pop Dots, Glue Dots, Die-namics Banner Day Die, Grosgrain Ribbon, Raspberry Twine

Birthday Sweetness
Good morning all! Today I am sharing with you a card I made using one of the newly release Whimsy and Stars Studio spring images! This cutie is called Birthday Chickie, this image clearly perfect for any birthday card and I thought for today that was what I would create! It's just a sweet image, it just makes me smile, oh heck they all make me smile!
I have a blast each time I sit down and color in one of Mabelle's images, each image is so detailed and fun to work with. For this image I wanted to use bright colors and something that would match the birthday feel to this image, so I pulled out my American Crafts Confetti decorative paper and started pulling colors from it. I decided to use yellow and a shade of orange to match the balloons as the layering colors and aqua mist cs as my base. Plus, I also decided to play along with a brand new challenge from a new company, Ribbon Carousel at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge Blog!
I love playing along with challenges whenever I can, and when I heard that Ribbon Carousel was starting a challenge I just had to check it out! I don't know about you, but I am SO getting one of these babies, I have so many ribbon spools that are such a hassle to organize but the carousel seems like a fabulous way to solve that problem. Well, anyway...this week we are supposed to use the Ribbon Carousel as inspiration and for mine I went with the joy of getting one....or what I thought would be the joy of course! The one requirement is that you use ribbon, lace, ect just something that comes on a spool so I used this fabulous satin ribbon that I got from Michele!
Have you checked out the Whimsy and Stars Studio Store yet? Well if you haven't, what are you waiting for! You are going to love these fun images, they all make me smile, I know they will do the same for you! I hope you have a wonderful day!
