Dream Label - Gina K

Hallo,
Just a quick post tonight - DH is out of town, DS is already asleep, and DD is staying over at a friends and I am working on craft stuff.
My Chief Enabler Pat and I went to Pensacola shopping today - went to HL, JoAnn's, and a couple thrift shops, as well as our usual lunch stop at a great little place downtown.
I put myself on a waiting list for a booth at an indoor flea market a month or so ago, thinking I had a couple months - well low and behold one came open and I start on Sept. 1st.....so I have been gathering stuff to display stuff on and am now in the process of digging all my finished projects out of all the nooks and crannies around my house and getting them priced and tagged.....then I have to get busy crafting itself with hopes of "needing' to keep the shelves from getting bare.....wish me luck!!!
I did this card for a challenge over at Stamp TV last week - color challenge I believe for red, black and pink. The label frame is from Gina K and the phrase is from StampLand. The flowers were colored and stamped (and colored) again to layer on top.

All for tonight - back to my closets and tags.....

Dream

Hallo,
And a good Saturday morning to you!!!
I finished this card yesterday and must admit I was tickled pink with how it turned out!!! I imagined the little guy pretending his trike was a big ol' Harley like my DS used to do.....
Little guy is an image from Mo's Digital pencil - colored with copics and cut out using a Spellbinders die and 'out-of-the-box' technique from Technique Junkies.
I then masked the little guy and stamped the motorcycle in grey ink over the mask. Motorcycle is from 'Bombshell Stamps'.

The backround is stamped with 'diamond plate' backrounder from Cornish Heritage Farms using weathered wood distress powder. I also used the distress powder on the edges of the Spellbinders frame.
The phrase is a partial stamp from 'Stampland' also embossed with the distress powder and framed with a pewter tone frame from JoAnn's.
My DH even liked this card!!!!!
My DH and DS went out fishin' this am and won't be back till late this afternoon, my DD and a friend of hers want to go to a movie so my big debate is whether to go see the movie with them (as it is one I would like to see) or stay home and play at the craft table - what a choice - I love to see movies at a theater but its a bit expensive lately and Netflicks will have it in a couple months, and I would really love some more time at the craft table!!!!

I am thinking craft table......maybe.....
At least I don't have to go to work!!!!! :) :)
All for now - pooch is waiting not so patiently for a walk - I amy have a second post for you today - family pics if I get some time to get them edited....

#3 Oriental DP

Hallo,
Last one I promise to move on to another technique soon - going to try and get some stuff done with all my DP's this weekend.
Same stamps, same inks, no black this time and more of the white embossing so it looks lighter....

#2 oriental DP

Hallo,
Preposting for ya today.
I used the same technique, stamps and inks except instead of tattered rose ditress I used antique linnen.
I liked the color combo of this one with the antiqiue linnen but didn't like how I ended up placeing the lady - should have paid more attention.....
ah well....

Oriental - Designer Paper technique

Hallo,
I did manage to finish these today - not yesterday like I intended. I did however manage to get the last of my Christmas packages mailed, my Christmas cards signed and mailed also, as well as several other errands and a little housework.
Didn't manage much time at the craft table today - needed to finish up some Christmas shopping for the kiddos while they were in school - I work the next 2 days and then the kids are off school for the holidays starting friday.....
This is the first of 3 to show you - more of the Faux Designer Paper technique from Technique Junkies.
This one was done with a variety of oriental stamps - Inkadinkado, Another Stamp Company and Stampland (I think). I used distress inks - tattered rose and brick red for the base and walnut stain and soot black for some of the overstamping.

All for tonight - Take Care
