Hi!! I have been busy making my cards for The Greeting Farms Twelve Days of Christmas Contest. They are giving the twelve sketches to follow and you have to have all twelve cards uploaded to their Gallery by 1/3 for a chance to win the ENTIRE January Release!! Oh boy would I love to win that!!! So here I am, finished with sketches 1-5 and I wanted to share them all with you. At the bottom I will give you all of the ingredients for each card.

Birthday Boy Ian

I made todays card from a cute little digi from The Greeting Farm called Birthday Boy Ian which can be found here. Okay now how cute is he? I know so many of you have been in LOVE with TGF Anyas and Ians but it took me alittle while to catch on. Now that I have a few digis and I purchased a stamp I am in love with these cuties and I made todays card from a Farm Fresh Friday sketch. I started by printing my image onto PTI cardstock and coloring with my copics. I cut it out with a Label 1 nestie and mounted on a circle and scallop circle. My cardstock is Kiwi Kiss and Pacific Point and my dp is Muirfield from SU. I added some brads around the corners and tied a big fat bow and did a bunch of paper piercing and called it a day!! I hope I did this little guy justice. I have watched so many of you use them so beautifully.

So the big news in our house?? My daughter broke her toe. Her big toe on her left foot. They have her in a boot and on crutches because they do not want her to put presure on the foot. So it has been interesting getting her around. I have had to take her to and from school because they do not want her on the school bus and she needs an adult to take her up and down in the elevator at school because she cant walk the steps. Unfortunately we are heading to the Poconos this weekend for a mini vacation and there is a huge indoor water park there that she will not be able to enjoy this year with her friends. I am bringing a load of crafts to keep her busy while the other kids are busy with activities she cannot participate in. I told her she can start making some holiday presents.

So that is our excitement. Hope all is well with you. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Whimsical Greetings

Hey Everyone!! Like I mentioned yesterday, I was so lucky to have won this fabulous new stamp set from the Greeting Farm and Jessica from the Whimsical Butterfly. It is such a sweet set and the sentiments are perfect for so many occasions. Here today is another card I made with the set. My dsp is from Making Memories, the Chloe stack. I have to say, alot of times I will buy a stack of paper only to use a few of the sheets in the pack but this Chloe set, I have just about sucked down every last sheet in there. It has been my all time favorite stack of paper. My cardstock is Pumpkin Pie, Brocade Blue and Very Vanilla and Barely Banana (or was it Apricot Appeal????) . I stamped my butterfly with Pumpkin Pie and then embellished it with my spica glitter pen which you probably cannot see but it looks very pretty. My sentiment was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. Silver Baubles are from Stamping Bella and ribbon is from Michaels.

Well today is a bit relaxing. My company is still here, but they went into the city today to visit with others so I have a moment to tidy up and get some food shopping and laundry done for my Lake George Trip next week. We are leaving on Saturday and of course I do not have a thing ready. We have been making this trip for the past ten years so it is just second nature to me already. Of course I always say I will not bring as much but that never happens. The ONLY thing that I have started to organize and make a list about is my crafting supplies and what I will be bringing with me!! A girl has priorities ya know!! LOL. So if you have read down this far, I am curious what would be some of your crafting staples be to go away on vacation for a week!! I just wonder what all of you CANT live without.

Have a fantastic day. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Butterfly Wishes

Hi Everyone! Jessica over at Whimsical Butterfly just came out with a new stamp set called Butterfly Wishes. It is being sold through The Greeting Farm and I was lucky enough to win a set from her last week. I was so excited when it arrived over the weekend and I just could not wait to ink it up.

I made today's card with dp scraps that I wanted to use up from my desk. My cardstock is Bermuda Bay, Always Artichoke and Kraft. My flowers are Prima, brads are from The Pink Hedgehog, ribbon is Kraft from SU and the lace is from Taylored Expressions.

I am off to enjoy the day with my company. Hope you enjoy yours. Thanks so much for stopping by!!
