Summer Tees

Chip Stitches

Summer Friend

When Ryan and I were in high school, he learned a little technique of scanning things into the computer and printing the images on iron-on paper. He made a bunch of images and put them on shirts. Luckily I have two saved. One t-shirt was a scan of a convenience store trash bag that said Thank you, repeatedly, the other was a tribute to Volcom, his hand scanned in making a V. (Think Star Trek) He wanted to start a skateboard brand and slowly in his parents office off of the kitchen he was creating that brand.

The brand hasn't happened yet, but once he was really close. The cool thing about knowing this guy for as long as I have is that I have gotten to see him have these little aspirations and then later see him achieve them in some way. A great trait that Ryan has that can sometimes be annoying (because I am in Chicago right now) is the ability to set a goal and achieve it.

Anyway, it is cool to see how far he has come. This post wasn't meant to be this long, but sometimes a little back story is fun to read.

If you want to check out the website, the titles of the t-shirts are also links. And if you want a shirt that is uniquely Ryan, I'd pick the Chip one.
