You Are Invited

Hi everyone doesn't my heading sound delicious mmmmm, sorry for those on diets.....though if it makes you feel better I cannot eat cake at the minute either lol. Ooooh I lurve cake too..
So I made a Lollipop Invite card thingy lol using a fabby new die from Suha.

Look at that scrummy cake die mmmmm and it's pink. My granddaughter is probably gonna steal this off me.......she does with lots of my creations bless her and then sits them all in her bedroom on shelves and her window sill....

Ok anyway the new die is the Gummiapan Story Cake die and it's fab and could be used for so many things....even a wedding cake. I was going to use it with a Tilda but then thought for my first time using it I would give it centre glory on its own.......yep love it that much you will be seeing it again lol. I cut the cake out twice and glued both together to make it thick and then added the white icing bits in white card stock and added stardust stickles to it.

For the middle layer of the card I used Maja Design Monochromess and a punch from my stash to make the edge pretty. The beautiful paper is of course Maja Design Sofiero which you get with the monchromes and at the minute Suha has this beautiful collection on sale.....pop along here to see it and of course buy it before I buy it all.....yes I love it that much lol.

Flowers, lace and corrugated card are from my stash. The leaf is a Magnolia die-cut and the flower type die-cut is from a Magnolia Doo-Hickey Club Kit, Volume 16 I think - but my mind has gone blank lol.

The banner at the bottom is another Magnolia die from a Club Kit. These really are awesome kits and the dies always come in handy, I love how you can mix and match different collections. Olga on the DT does very different things with the dies, she is utterly amazing, it goes to show that a die can be used so many different ways.

Ok last photo which is a little better I think, I've struggled with my pics...insert unhappy face here....
The sentiment is a new Magnolia stamp that came with the Christmas Calender but Suha also has the collection in store. Yhe collection is called "You're Invited", you actually get two stamps with this one. I stamped it then fussy cut it and put it onto a banner cut with a Magnolia die. The circle in the centre was cut out using a Gummiapan die. I love these sets and they are some of my favourite to use.

Thanks for stopping by, take care.

Lovely Hanglar & Sweet Magnolia DT Card

Hello everyone I'm running so late with this, I thought I had done &......well clearly I hadnt so I'm gonna crack on. I have a peek sneak of something sooooooo cute at the bottom of the post though, so why not hang around lol.

Ok so my lovelies we have a brand new challenge over on Lovely Hanglar & Sweet Magnolia & the challenge is.......drum roll please......

USE TRIM
......so it can be lace, ribbon, seam binding, pom pom trim, organza roses....you et the drift dont you ;-)
I had hoped I would have a different project ready but I didnt but thankfully had this one as back-up which I made a few weeks ago.
The image I masked & coloured a couple of months ago so it was nice to finally put it on a card.
The stamps I used are Magnolia 'Tilda With Flower In Her Pocket' from the Country Girl collection & I masked her with Magnolia 'Little Westie With Flower' I left the Westie off though & just used the flowers, again this stamp is from the Country Girl collection. I got these from Swedish House Crafts.
They were coloured with distress ink refills & then I cut the image out using Gummiapan Stitched Circle dies.

I made a tag using the Surfboard tag....I've had this for about a year & finally used it for the first time, shocking I know....I have quite  a few like this, some still in their packets...yes I'm bowing my head in shame right now :-(
The words are from a Tim Holtz pad. I made the tag so it can swivel out to write something on the plain one underneath.
I think the brad is My Minds Eye........maybe...

Of course as always I decorated the inside. The paper is Maja Design Summer Crush & I have machine stitched all layers, added gesso here & there & added Gummiapan Stitched Circle dies to the centre.

I added a paper straw saying Happy Birthday at the top using a Whimsy stamp & matching die.
I also added seam binding & I coloured it myself a long long time ago. Button, doilies & lace are form my stash.

I used Magnolia Doohickey Vintage Box Lacing Coffee at the side & the leaves are also Magnolia dies. Flowers are WOC.

Please pop on over to see my fabulous teamies creations & leave them all some love, seriously I work with such talented girlies & feel darn proud of them & lucky to work with them.

Ok do you want to see my sneak peak of something soooooo darn cute....of course you do, well feast your eyes on my new puppy. Only 2 weeks old at the minute, we met them for the first time on Monday 16th & they will be ready on 1st December.
This is Mummy with her 12 babies, yes 12........OMW how did she do that.....where the heck did she hide them all as she is not that big. There is not one runt & she is a fantastic mum & greeted us so so well. She came out to greet us & we stroked her, she really is beautiful.

Me holding my new baby, isn't he adorable....I cant wait til he comes home. I didnt want to put him down lol & when I got home Poppy sniffed where I had held him for ages.
I went to my best friends house after for a couple of hours & stroked her dogs but Poppy didnt even bother with their scent.....just the pups scent.

We got first pic out of all these babies & I picked this handsome fell, first one to have a collar as well. The lady who owns this gorgeous mum & litter sent me this photo to my phone yesterday, I love him already.
I picked him out just by a photo on Friday, I knew as soon as I saw him amongst all his brothers & sisters. Thankfully I did as the first lady to go on Saturday picked mine & desperately wanted him but the lovely lady said he was reserved & while she was disapointed she picked another gorgeous little  fella.
I do have a name ready for him but I will tell you that when he comes homes.........just incase I change my mind (doubt it though lol)

Ok well its actually 3.48 am & I've not been sleep yet as I have an upset daughter who has not been well for a few days & other reasons why I'm up which I will not bore you with as I think I have babbled waaaaayyyy to much as it is lol.

Thank you for stopping by & if you stayed to the end well done you lol.
Tatty bye lovelies, take care & enjoy your day what ever you are doing.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Mr & Mrs Together Forever

Hello everyone how are you all?
The plan today was get the front garden done, scarify the lawn, remove flowers & weed etc but its wet & very miserable :-( Perfect day to stay inside & get work done then ;-)

So I have a card today that I made quite a few weeks ago. When I showed my last LOTV card with a simply print I did say the next one would be a stamped image.......here it is, or one of them as I have a another done lol.

This time I thought I would make a Wedding card or it could even suit as an Anniversary card maybe.
Sorry for the pics again we've packed the big computer up to move to another room & the software to use with the camera is on there & not my lappy.........so I'm still using my phone :-(

I love these love birds, they are so darn cute.........shame it took me so long to use them lol. They are from Magnolia Doo-Hickey Volume 3.
The flowers are WOC & you can also see a doily peeking out too.

I added Mr & Mrs Scrapiniec to the corner & under the flowers I added the Eiffel Tower also from Volume 3.
Flowers again are WOC & the leaves are Magnolia Parsley & Rocket Salad.

The fabulous cute image is a LOTV stamp called 'Wedding Couple' & I coloured it with distress ink refills.
I cut the image out using Gummiapan 'Nesting Stitched Circles' & matted it onto larger sizes underneath including a circle of Maja Design.
I also added a couple of pearl hearts as added love ;-)

I cut 2 hearts using a Magnolia die, I cut 1 in white cardstock & 1 in co-ordinating Maja Design paper, I added Tim Holtz words to the white cardstock & added a brad.
So when you swing the patterned heart out it reads 'Together Forever', kinda like a hidden message.

As always inside is decorated to match the front. Paper I've used is a Maja Design collection which is probably my favourite one, I won September Mood Board & I also won this set......so I have lots more now lol.
It is of course 'Summertime' 12x12 & I used a Go-Kreate die for the card. As always the papers have been machine stitched.
The lace is from my stash as are the doilies.

Thats it form me but thank you so much for stopping by, it really means a lot.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Lovely Lace at Deep Ocean

Hello everyone how are you all?
I'm really late with this post unfortunately so think of it as a midway reminder lol.

I'm here with my DT creation for Deep Ocean Challenge which this fortnight is.....
LOVELY LACE
......oh so so easy, its a rarity I dont put lace on my creations lol.

The card I'm showing today I made when I made my other LOTV christmas card.
This time however I used NO Christmas Paper at all ;-)
So the paper I've used for is Maja Design 'Enjoying Outdoors' 6x6 pad........the colours in this pad go perfectly with the image. I wanted browns to go with the forest the little girl is in but I also wanted to bring the gorgeous colour of her scarf out......
I machine stitched around the edges as always.
I'm sorry about my photo's just lately I've been taking them on my phone & on the conservatory window sill so they are not great.........time has been escaping me just lately as there is so much going on.
Anyhoo enough boring drivvle lol.
The gorgeous image is one of the new releases from LOTV, this is a Simply Print image called 'Singing Robin' & they have added even more since I got this.....may have to go shopping again lol.
I do have some LOTV stamps that I have coloured, I just need get them on cards.
I cut it out using a postage die & then added a layer of purple underneath to give it a bit of impact on the colour........I think its worked nicely.

I added Scrapiniec & WOC flowers down the bottom right corner & to the top right I aded a sentiment from an old wood block stamp & cut it out using a Magnolia die. I then added a couple of bells & some waxed cord.

I've been neglecting my foamiran lately so I was trying something new......which I will show another time, & I decided to make some poinsettia flowers. I made white ones using a none poinsettia die & I made these Ivory ones using a poinsettia die..........I have a few of these dies so its good to experiment to get the right shape & size you want.
I also made the smaller flowers in a purple foamiran using a Rosy Owl die, the leaves I made using a Whimsy die designed by Bev Rochester.

Sorry for the darkness of this photo lol.
The lace is from my stash & I added 2 layers of cream to add softness to it.
The snowflake border is a Joy Crafts die. As you can see I decorated inside to compliment the front.

Thats it for me, I have lots to do today as we got back from Berwick yesterday as we went away for a long weekend with all the family.....lots of washing lol.
I've also got my granddaughter today as she wants sleep over tonight, she isnt back school until next week as she had an operation the day schools started back & has to be off for 2 weeks.
Here she is just before she went to theatre, she was so brave & not scared at all.......I love this girl!!
Payton just before theatre 5th September 2017.

Well I better get off this laptop & move my body. See you soon lovelies, thanks so much for stopping by & reading my drivvle lol.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Sweet Baby Boy

Hello everyone I'm running late with this post & have a busy day so gonna get on as quick as possible my lovelies.

Ok so today I'm here for the new chalLenge over at All About Magnolia & this month our challenge is super duper easy peasy..........
ANYTHING GOES
..........what is easier than that lol.

My card today was not originally meant for this challenge, it was just a card for fun as I had coloured the image quite a bit ago & decided to use it. However it came in handy as I didnt have time to finish what I was making.
I made a baby card with my favourite baby stamp. Usually I use Maja Design Baby papers but this time I decided to use Maja Design Denim & Friends 6x6 collection.....I love how this pad can work for so many occasions. You can get this paper here from Swedish House Crafts.

The star & the rabbit are from Doohickey Volume 13, I edged them with ink & added bits of structure paint here & there, mainly the edges.
You can get the Doohickey volumes from Swedish House Crafts & you can great deals on them, Suha knows how expensive these kits can be so you can reserve Volume 16 for £10 but if you dont like it when it is released then you can change your mind..........pop over to here to read the details.

The Magnolia stamp is called Sleeping Baby Tilda but coloured him for a boy & I coloured him with distress ink refills, added stardust stickles to his wings.
This stamp is available to buy from Swedish House Crafts, its been a long time since I've seen this stamp for sale in the UK......pop along & get it before they go!!
I then cut him out using Magnolia Pink Edition Rounded Frames which are on a fabulous offer at Swedish House Crafts right now.

The heart tag is from Magnolia Doohickey Volume 14 & I added words & letters from Tim Holtz pads to read Sweet on the front & Baby Boy inside.

As always I decorated inside & I machine stitched all the papers.
Lace is from my stash, the tulle I have in a few colours & have quite a bit of it lol.
Flowers are from WOC & the doily is from my stash.

Hope you will join us this month over at All About Magnolia.

Thats it form me, my grand-daughter is having an operation today & I've got my grandson to look after & other things to do but cannot say incase someone reads this blog lol.

Hope the weather for you is better than it is here.........raining cats & dogs....or is it dogs & cats ;-)
Take care & thanks for stopping by mmwah.

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Deep Ocean Challenges - Layers

Hello everyone I'm back again with my DT card for Deep Ocean Challenges which this fortnight is..........
LAYERS
........so so easy right!!

Now this card I actually made for April mood board for Maja Design......yep I'm a wee bit late lol. That much went on that month & I didnt have time to blog it & forgot about it :-(
So here it is for you today lol.
Photo's were taken before my craftroom was ripped apart, I'm hoping to be finished by end of next week......
So quite a few layers on this, it fit this challenge perfectly so I didnt have to rush & make one lol.
The papers are my favourite & are from the Sofeiro collection, oh my I love that collection & I've used my favourite sheets in that collection as well. All paper have been machine stitched as always.
I added 2 layers of lace from my stash.

The main focal point is an image from the Emphera sheet which I cut out using a Postage die. I added some corrugated card underneath that which was painted with gesso & then another piece cut from a postage die....I love postage dies lol.
The heart sticking out is a Fantasy die from Noor Design UK.

This is the tag that pulls out from the side, I've kept the photo dark so you can see the wording better. I stamped a verse from a Stempelglede stamp onto some paper with versamark & then heat embossing with white embossing powder. I then cut it out using a LLLC Tag die, I also added some pattern to the edge of the tag again using Stempelglede stamp & embossing powder.
It really does look so pretty IRL.
As always I have decorated inside. I've added white organza ribbon by the flowers & also on the tag & heat shrivelled them to add to the shabby chic look. I added cheesecloth between 2 layers of paper which you can just see peeking out. I also added a white metal corner from my stash & a rose & butterfly also from my stash.

Well thats it form me please pop on over to see what my fabulous teamies made. Hope you will join us for our layers challenge.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

It Is Your Day Today

Hello everyone, how are you all?
Its been quite a week for us, we went away on Monday for a few days in the caravan but unfortunately Natalie got took into the RVI hospital on the Tuesday with suspected Pneumonia. Thankfully its not that & its a chest infection, she is quite poorly but at home now. A long time ago we brought blood pressure & sat monitors etc so we can keep an eye on all those.

Anyway I thought I would show a card that I've not shown yet, I have a few I've not shown yet but lets start with one I made back in January I think it was lol.
I had an order for 4 cards off a lady & one of the cards had to be vintage & purple.........so here it is....
The gorgeous papers that I immediately went to are Pion Design.....unfortunately I could not decide between 2 collections.........so I used both together.
I used paper from 'Scent Of Lavender' & 'Where The Roses Grow' both collections from Noor Design UK.

I added some gorgeous white lace along the bottom which you can just see peeking out & then some fablous purple lace with flowers on on the top. I've also added Cheesecloth under the image too.
All of these from Noor Design UK.

Of course as always I decorated inside, sorry I forgot to take pics of inside & of course this card went a very long time ago lol.
The image on the front is from the 'Where The Roses Grow' collection off sheet 'Images From The Past' I cut it out with a postage die & cut out a sentiment from a Pion sheet along the bottom saying....'It Is Your Day Today'
The butterflies are also Pion & I added crackle accents to them & some fine pearl string to the centre.
Doilies are from my stash & I added lots of WOC flowers & the leaves were made using Rosy Owl dies from Noor Design UK.

Thats it from me I will show you another card tomorrow. I also made a card for the Maja Design Mood Board beginning of this month so will show you that over the weekend.

Hope you have a super weekend, hopefully the weather will be nice, its awful here today.....wet & miserable!!

Take care & thanks for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx

Send Me Flowers

Hello everyone how are you all?
Well I'm here today with my DT post for Noor Design UK, I've missed 2 weeks as so many things have been going on in real life so took a break. However I am back now & you can expect things to return to normal.........though I'm far from normal hee hee.

Ok so I'm here today with a Dreamerland Craft stamp....now in all honesty half of this card was made weeks ago but didnt get finished. So I thought I would finish this one first :-)

I have used the fabulous Lemoncraft Everyday Spring 12x12 papers, these are so colourful & bright & go with anything.
As always I have machine stitched all around the edges.

The seam binding is one I coloured myself. The centre piece is actually a Brad from Noor Design UK, these I love!!
Underneath is a Fantasy die & also along the edge is another Fantasy die.
Talking of Fantasy dies, have you seen all the new ones Tracy has recently added........soooooo fabulous!!

I have took a photo of the inside before I add somewhere to write on just to show youhow pretty these papers are. As you can see I have also added the Fantasy die inside too along the edge.

The fabulous stamp is one of my favourites I absolutely fell in love with this the second I saw it......how darn cute is Teddy there!! So this cutie is called 'Send Me Flowers' & I stamped onto Fabriano & coloured with distress ink refills. I dont remember the colours as I coloured this up about a month ago.
I also added pearl dots randomly with a pearl pen & cut it out using Little Darlings Fancy Rectangle die.....probably my most used die lol.

Have you seen the utterly dorable wooden fence..........how cute is that!!! I added a charm on top of it to add to the whimsical charm of it all.
I added WOC flowers & the large flower is made from Foamiran which I made a few weeks ago with the newest release of Rosy Owl dies. I also added a feather underneath. The rolled flower is form my stash.

Well thats it from me but I have something a little different for you next week ;-)

Until then why not go have a splurge in Tracy's shop where you can find sooooooo many goodies........seriously you will be spoilt for choice.

Thanks for stopping by.
Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
