Where have you been?! Just kidding, where have I been.
I'm still having trouble with my lap top, I have been to lazy to sit here at the house computer.
Anyhoo, can you see them? Hiding among those beautiful plastic flowers.
At first I didn't see them, they were stuffed in with all the fake plants at the thrift.
The closer I got the more excited I got!
I ripped those flowers off, boy were they glued on tight. I can cover that!
I have plans for them.
Now I have five toppers! I guess I should have taken a picture of all of them, I'll do that later and show you.
They are getting harder to find for a good price around here.
And they were a good price at $3.93! Including the plastic flowers!!
Other then the glue on the bottom of the stand they are in great shape!
They are dated 1959!
Aren't they beautiful?!
I like to show you what's blooming at my house.
I can always count on my impatiens. I guess they took the T off impatiens. I know there was one there before.....before what, I don't know..haha
If I keep them cut back they fill out nicely.
I'm always looking for old work boots to fill with flowers.
These have my Katie plants I bought at Publix a couple years ago and this is the first time they have had a good bloom on them.
They also root very easy!
I love my chicken feeder I bought from Shelley at Sweet Pea Home.
I will fill it with flowers soon, it's quit large so I'm afraid it will be too heavy to hang when it's full of dirt and plants.
I don't usually do red but I do like the puff flowers.
I love this old heavy metal planter I bought at a garage sale years ago.
Here is my big boy that I love so much. He's doing pretty well, he is starting to limp more but his spirit is great.
For those that don't know, Bailey has cancer.
Isn't this pretty?! I always get one bloom at a time, I wish it would just explode with blooms.
See her? She's is chomping away at that milk weed.
I love watching them grow each day.
It's funny because I usually can not find where they go to make there chrysalis.
We sure did have a mild winter this year. I think we only had one time when the temputure went below freezing and I was in Montana.
I'm linking with Debra at Common Ground this week, so make sure you get over there and visit other great vintage finds!
Have a happy Friday and weekend if I don't see you..hehehe.
xoxo
