CR84FN70 - Week 2 - Thanks!

Welcome to CR84FN70 Week 2 which will be our last post.  Mona has decided after two years to pursue other opportunities.  We appreciate all of YOU who have played along with us.  It's been a Fantastic experience and I, for one, have met some Wonderful friends along the way.  I also want to say THANK YOU to Mona who has brought color to all of our worlds and to her DH Scott for making the Beautiful graphics and providing us with Fabulous quotes for every challenge.  Best wishes to you BOTH!

So one last time, our colors for CR84FN70 are Aqua, Tan,and Light Yellow.

 Here's the graphic:

Here's my card for week 2:

I decided to use mostly tan so the aqua in my background paper and the yellow felt rosebud would just POP!

Here is a closeup of how I ripped the center out of my HL flower and glued the tiny rosebud in it's place.  I cut off some of the outside of the tiny rosebud to make it even smaller.
LOVE that die and yummy felt!

Here is a closeup of the rest of my details.  I am in a pearl mood lately!  I seem to want to add pearls and lace and twine to everything!!  LOL!
Hope you enjoy my card that was created to get YOU inspired!
Now check out what the other CR84FNDT members (listed in my sidebar) have made for you!  And once again ~ thank you ALL so much for your support!  See you in Blogland!

Thank you so much Sue for all the encouragement, dedication and inspiration that you have not only given to me personally but to all the CR84FN readers/players :) The challenge would have come to an end long ago if it hadn't been for you encouraging me to march on. Your card is so pretty! Love the damask background and beautiful blossom! That little metal charm adds a sweet touch!

Wow, Sue, this is such a sweet card and you're idea that the yellow/aqua would pop is sooo correct! LOVE the pearls and lace, esp. that little bit of the second lace and your lacy edge along the bottom!
Sure you'll miss your DT, but know you'll always keep busy with not only more craftiness to share, but enjoying your hubby's retirement!

This is so elegant and the dainty felt flower, although tiny is deffinitely the star of the show.
70 challenges, that is pretty impressive and you were a part of it. You should be very proud.
Look at all those lovely people you have met that are now great friends. Love the piccy of you and Mona in your side bar, you look so alike. Glamorous ladies indeed, what do you put in your coffee over there? ;)
