BUSY,BUSY,BUSY

Hello Peeps,
Well - I have been very busy this end trying to get my garden sorted out and working on stuff to fix the house. I've also had a couple of big card orders so my poor little Bloggy here has suffered. :-(

I have had a major clear up in my craft room too so I have a few things I shall be selling on the IkesArt Fan Facebook Page. I shall be adding them on there in the next couple of days, so keep your eyes peeled :-D

Today I decided to have a bit of crafty play as I haven't done anything for pleasure for a while.
I decided to enter the INTERNATIONAL ART & SOUL CHALLENGE which this time is #58 Ecology/Environmental/Conservation.

I have made a journal page using " Earth Day " globe from BUGABOO  ( I don't think they have this for sale any more) and I drew a hand to hold it, and added a quote from Guy McPherson.

Hello Peeps,
My friend sent me a FB message today with a fabulously funny poem by Pam AYRES and after I finished chuckling I just had to make a journal page. Whilst I read it, I got just the couple of images in my head that would fit wonderfully with this :-)

I used ' Stella Braless ' (pity they didn't have a nude Stella or a flimsy negligee Stella  LoL ) and ' Gus Flashlight '.... both from BUGABOO STAMPS. Gus has just about the right expression of shock on his face  :-D LoL   
The background is actually a colour chart with 50 shades of grey on it hahahaha

SOMETHING FOR THE MEN :-)

Me again,
I have a friend who we lovingly nicknames "2 Sheds" as he has built himself a couple of sheds in his Greek garden and I think, is currently contemplating his third !! He will, however, always remain as "2 Sheds" and his wife is "Mrs Sheds" LoL
Every year for his Birthday, I make him a card and also his wife and my friends order one, so here is the selection he got this year LoL

This first one I made for Mrs Sheds to give him - she always likes a sexy lady on the card for him.
I used a pretty shed picture that I printed 3 times and decoupaged the elements and the door.
The image is 'MISS FORTUNE' from KENNY K and I coloured her with Promarkers, then fussy cut her and stuck her in there with foamies.

This is the inside - using an image of Stella called 'Expiration Date' from BUGABOO (minus her veil). He probably wouldn't be lucky enough to find Miss Fortune in his shed, but I guess he can live in hop :-D  hahahaha 

This 2nd one is what I made for my friends to give him....

This one uses 'Gus - Flashlight' also from BUGABOO and I placed him up front of an assortment of sheds. All coloured with Promarkers and added some teeny googly eyes :-).

It also has a secret message flap :-)

This last one was from me and has 'BEACH BUM BOB' from DR DIGI on there. He was coloured with Promarkers (and looks a wee bit like Mr 2 Sheds by the way  hee hee).

I made a framed mirror using a bit of Mirri card so that when he held it up he could see himself in there and made a LOOK sign with some googly eyes on it. :-)

**** - Oh yeah - I forgot to say..... Apparently his daughter sent him a card - made by a card company - from the UK which had a SHED on it and it said "What happens in the shed, stays in the shed"  hahahaha - I have never seen a Shed card from anywhere but she found one !! LoL ***

SUMMER FUN

Good Morning Peeps and Happy Monday,
Well - for me the Summer is still here but definitely the evenings are getting a bit cooler here and it's gets dark earlier. Days are good though as we are still around 28 degrees :-D

I have made another little creation for entering into Challenges this morning, and I had a go at one of these pop-up doodads, so here it is.

The actual Pop-Up card kit is a download from Cardmaking Downloads and is from the Great Britain Kit. It reminded me of deckchairs and the shape is sort of Punch and Judy tent-ish, so perfect for a beach theme.

I used elements from 'Beach Camp' kit by SALT TOWN STUDIOS for my outside panels.

The main images are, 'Beach Baby 2'  and the little birds are Crow'  both from BUGABOO and the other one is 'Becky Bunny' which is the latest Freebie from SPYDER and I think if you are quick you can still snag it HERE.

I coloured them all with Copics and then cut them out to stick on the tabs. The Beach Baby has Stickles on her water and her sunglasses are done with Glossy Accents.

SAME FUN JUST A NEW NAME

Hello Saturday Peeps,
I have been waiting for the Opening of CRAFTITUDE - PAPER CRAFTING WITH ATTITUDE... the new name for what was ATCs With Attutitude. :-)  The Challenges are now open to ALL types of  Papercrafting - not just ATCs :-)

I have still made an ATC for Challenge #49 - Anything Goes/Harvest... and I have used a Bugaboo image called "Goofy Cat Teeth". I've turned him into a harvest/halloween kitty by colouring him into a nice ginger puss and then printed him out twice so I could 3D his face and front legs for pop !! 

I added a piece of gauzy ribbon and made a little Boo ticket. His background  I got a long while ago from The Scrappin Cop :-)

OK - I'm off to play with something else now :-D xxxxxx

Here I am again with a little whimsy for St Patrick's Day to go into Challenge #3 over at SCRIBBLES DESIGNS CHALLENGE BLOG.

ATCs

I love making ATCs, so I couldn't resist this weekend trawling through to see what I could come up with in the way of Challenges. I found WICKED WEDNESDAY, who's Challenge this time is Gothic Love and the sponsor is BUGABOO - well that's a great combination if ever I saw one, so out came my bits and bobs to make an ATC. I used backing papers from Crafty Chaos (sadly no longer open) - the set is called Gothic Bruise (how appropriate) and my image is 'Skelekinz My Heart' from Bugaboo.  I distressed the edges of my backing cards with my Making Memories tool. I coloured her digitally and then printed her out 4 times and fussy cut, mounted on 3D pads for pop. :-)
I also used a sentiment from Bugaboo 'You have my Heart', but it doesn't show up quite so well in the pikkie :-(

Hello  - today I am showcasing (or trying to ) some images from SMEARED INK. It's called 'Bloody Valentine' as is a fabulous NEW RELEASE.
