Miniature Rooms on Etsy Shop!

I have been wanting to create more miniature rooms after I made my miniature sewing room a while ago. It's not only because I got many positive responses about what I created, it is honestly so much fun to make miniature rooms! I realized that it allows me to do designing, sewing, quilting, crafting and interior decorating. Things I LOVE to do all in one!! No wonder I enjoy it. :)

I created one living room, titled ~ reading time and a couple sewing rooms and listed them on my etsy shop today. Please head over to check them out if you are interested.

Some of you might think it is a bit pricey, but after considering the cost for the materials and my time that is the price I came to.

I will have a more detailed post soon for each miniature room. I want you to look at the details of each one. :)

New Items for My Etsy Store

I finally felt relieved to have shipped the items to Japan. Then, I noticed that I needed to make more Little Girl's Handbags for my etsy store.

I just finished them yesterday, took pictures and now, they are in my store. I think I am going to take a small break tonignt after this post.

I have been in a mood to restyle and create clothing. Next week I will be posting some of the projects I am working on now.

They will be easy and inexpensive projects, I promise.

Well, everyone, enjoy the new fall weather, see you all on Monday!

My First Sale!!!

A couple nights ago I started posting my baby bibs on my Etsy store. After I was about halfway through posting all of my bibs, I went to my store to make sure they were all there. I notice that the first bib I had posted wasn't there. Puzzled, I decided to keep going and later try to find out why.

After I had entered all the bibs, I went to my store front and saw that I had 11 items for sale and 1 item sold. What?!

Aaron was sitting next to me, and he asked, "Did you buy your own stuff?"

I slapped him lightly and said, "No!"

So we checked my email and sure enough, someone had bought my bib a few minutes after I had posted it. I was so excited. Yea!!!!! Aaron and I high-fived.
It is an awesome feeling to know that someone I don't even know, saw what I had created and liked it enough to buy it.

Here is a picture of the first thing I sold.

It feels like things are progressing slowly, but I enjoy what I do and am having a blast. I always try to do something every day whether it is posting an item on my Etsy store, posting to this blog, or creating something new. Even though I enjoy being a mother and a wife, I want to keep that part of me alive.

Etsy Debut!!

I have been busy! I have been sewing, crafting, and working on the computer along with my regular routine. I wanted to post my stuff on Etsy for long time but I guess I never had the courage to do it. With a few of my friends' encouraging words and Aaron's help, I finally opened my Etsy store!! Well, it is no where near perfect, but I am taking the baby steps. It is not easy to find time for this, but each night after the kids are in bed I am make some progress. Right now I am trying to find someone on Etsy to make a banner and avatar for me.

First I posted some of my stitchery patterns and this Apron. It took me such a long time to decide what to do with the pocket.

I had some left over fabrics, so I made tiny messanger style purse for Rachel.

She loved it! What is in side? Candies! Of course.
