Memory Making and a Little Announcement

Well, it is past midnight, so technically, yesterday was one very busy day. I had a lot going on since I woke up, then many places to go to.

In the afternoon, we droped the kids off at my sister-in-law's house so we could go on the real date for my birthday. Bless her heart, she has her three little ones to take care of but she was willing to watch our three too. Thank you so much!

I have a good friend whose birthday is two days early than mine. We have been going to this sushi restaurant to celebrate both our birthdays for three years. We didn't intend to do so every year, but we had so much fun it is became our little tradition.

After that, Aaron took me to see New Moon. I have been dying to see that movie. I loved it, and it is so nice to have "us" time. Oh, after seeing that movie, I still have to say I am team Edward.

By the way, I have a little favor to ask all of you... I was wondering, if you have done any projcts based off my tutorials? Would you send me a link, not to your blog, but to that particular post? I want to do a party by posting your Tea Rose Home inspired projects sometime around the end of this month! What do you think? Doesn't that sound fun?

I know some of you already sent a link to me, but it was a while ago, and I am having a hard time finding them, so if you can send them to me again, I would really appreciate it!

Well, I am relly tired, I need to get to bed... I will see you all on Monday.
Have a lovely Sunday!

The Things I Found at the Park

This week is almost over, it has been a busy week as usual. Although, there was a moment I felt peace and was actually able to spend some time with Rachel.

I took Rachel to a park, It wasn't planned but it was such a nice day. I thought that I should not waste a day like this. We went to the library first then, to the park.

She. loved. it.

Since it wasn't planned I just grabbed some crackers on the way out. We sat and ate the crackers together too. The entire time she would not stop talking and smiling.

I have a book mark with a quote that says "The shortest way to happiness is to make someone else happy".

That is so true. Her happiness was totally contagious. We laughed and played for a while.

Then, it was time to go... I brought some sourvenirs home.

One yellow leaf

Two pine cones

Three berries

Everytime when I look at them, I remember how I felt at the park.

I collected another happy memory.

Red, White and Blue

I have been working on some new dresses for Rachel. I wanted to make something for the Fourth July and came up this...

My favorite color is white, and I love the combinations of red and white.

Where is the blue? Here are some blue flowers. I love the fabric; very summerly and happy colors.

For the Forth we are having a big picnic at a park with extended family. This is becoming our family tradition. We will have a BBQ and other good food while we play soccor, badminton, frisbie and even some board games. Every year, I bring bubbles and glow sticks for the little ones.

The grand finale is the fire works. It never gets old; I love watching fire works. Lined up chairs and blankets and pillows make me feel happy and warm inside. I love creating memories with my loved ones.

It is late, I better get to bed soon for tomorrow. I feel all red, white and blue inside. I'm excited about what kind of fun we will have!

Happy Fourth of July every one!
