First of all...I do not consider myself a TWILIGHT die-hard. I read the books, I
liked the books, but I wasn't
obsessed with the books. That being said, I stayed up way too late for the 12:01 AM showing of the PREMIERE! I couldn't resist once I heard that a bunch of girls were getting together for dinner at Cheesecake around 9:30, and then catching the opening act. We drank our Diet Cokes (which had the adverse affect of sending us to the Ladies room several times), snuck in our snacks, and were ready to go. So there we were, 16 women/mom's hanging out with all the
teenie-
boppers and goths that came out to see EDWARD. It was a lot of fun, and I'm glad I didn't miss it. After the show, we outlasted everyone in the 700-
seater auditorium while we analyzed our likes and dislikes of the show. Here are a few things we determined....
1. We liked Bella 2. Edward grew on us 3.
Rosalee wasn't pretty enough (we imagined someone more Heidi-
Klum-
ish) 4. That whole frolicking in the meadow scene needs to
GO 5. Since when does Edward climb trees like a spider money? 6. Her friends were perfect and quirky 7. It was super cheesy, but a lot of fun. Anyway, hope
ya'll enjoy the movie (if you didn't already see it at one of the all-night showings), and guess what? I can't wait for the next one!
