In spite of the weather...

A room with a view...I love my new window in my room at Sisters',
I love having a room at Sisters'...
rooming next to my bestest bud Brandon and his
wonderful decorating style that totally
enhances mine...
HELLO BRANDON...wherever you are...

Bits of Valentines' Day are arriving with the scents of LOVE SPELL...
YUMMMMM...
I have a new surprise coming for my soaps...very romantic...and very poetic!!!

The newly painted sideboard nestles into the upstairs of Sisters',
it's a perfect match...as most of my furniture has had a sudden departure...
but that's what it's all about for a dealer!

You have never smelled a peach candle like this one,
it'll make your mouth water for more...soaps too!

Pumpkin Cheesecake, an all time favorite in American made Ball jars,
not real classy, but then that isn't the REAL issue is it...
MADE IN AMERICA

Next to my man Brandon and I, the room belongs to Erika and Elaine...
two of the sweetest, most talented young gals out there...

The girls make these hand-printed signs that are to die for...
I want them all!!!

...and of course, there's BLOOM...
the little white farm house next door,
it's turning very Springlike over there...you simply must go check it out...
fresh Lilac and Lemon Verbena soaps!

We ain't afraid of no stinkin' snow!!!
Venture out to Sisters' Garden and Bloom...
SOON!

A room of my own...

Yes, Sweet Repose has a room of her own right in Sisters' Garden...
as these darling and yummy scented sachets announce.
Ah, the sweet scent of gardenia wafts through the air...

When a little girl plays in her doll house, magic occurs...
VIGNETTES...

I love the penny rug in this setting under the soaps,
it perfectly blends with the shabby floral seat cover
of this old parlor chair.

A bit out of focus, but dreamy and true, another vignette
proves that white is still queen...

A treasury of tiny French fruit jars, now filled to the brim
with Christmas scented soy wax, tiny votive sized treats to
scent your holiday room.

AND soap, soap, soap...

And candles...I've chosen the fruit jars for my candles,
because these jars are still made in America by
American laborers...they are easily attained in most stores,
so shipping costs are minimal...
plus, they give the feel of homemade and not imported!
And that's what it's all about these days, right!!!
They can be sold wholesale too, so email if interested!

M.I.A....did ya miss me...

Been missing in action, but have been having a blast,
TOTS been in town...oh my...
my shopping days have been full, we've been all over Iowa
doin' our thing...WHEW!!!

Theresa and I were also busy making soap for her to sell
in her booth, but making a wonderful new goat milk soap for
Sisters' Garden open house this Friday evening.
TOT tied on the wonderful lil' rags and stamped the 'goat milk' stamp
on them, while I busily made more batches...

So now the decorating begins for the room at Sisters'...

Today I'll run up and tweak what Theresa and I did yesterday
and wait for the crowds to swarm...

Barb's Friday evening of lights is always so magical,
so don't hesitate, come visit us...

Check out all the designer trends...
AND...

Help me chase Brandon around for the perfect pictures of his room...
see ya this afternoon lil' buddy!!!

Textures...and celebration....

I love this old fireplace surround...I'm on the hunt for the perfect piece for the chateau...

You can never have enough plant stand...right...

There's that French influence again...what a sweet lil' settee...oui...

Yet black is still hot!

and this buffet proves it...

So let's celebrate the coming spring and get out there and shop...it's time to start sweeping off the porches in anticipation of the lounging and sweet tea times ahead...

Is it here yet???

Things and things and house things...

...do you see it...Spring is creeping ever so close...

For those of you that frequent Sister's Garden a lot, you may have noticed some changes in two lil' rooms upstairs at Sisters'...
Barb has allowed Brandon and myself to play in our own lil' spaces...
Brandon and I have discovered that our tastes run a very close path
right along side Barbs' vision.
So the quest to fulfill our dreams, can fill yours with the fun house stuff
we all crave...

Ooo la la...as bits of France peek through and lux galore,
we all play with the current trends of the market...
this ain't your momma's house any more...

Over the top is the name of the game, as women(and guys) seek to make their worlds
foreign to the norm, with mix-match and rescued treasures,
we trim our nests in the trends of Marie Antoinette or Rachel Ashwell...
All in the name of fun and comfort in a zone we call
HOME...

DREAM...DREAM...DREAM...
in luxury and style...

and play with all the HOUSE THINGS found at Sister's Garden and Bloom...
