Missed the Church Today

We did go to church today because we got up late in the morning, plus, Matt is working today. I feel bad about it and I am hoping it won't happen again. Jacob and I are planning of just staying home and chill and try to keep the Sabbath, holy. It is nice that Jake loves it when I read book to him. He also is a fun of Ammon in the Book of Mormon; so he always wants to watch it with us over and over again. Anyway, Nothing much to say here. Just writing my thoughts and feeling today.

Back to FHE again....

We were back to doing Family Home Evening again after a month of stopping due to our busy schedules and stress with work situation. Jacob loves doing it and whatever he is doing, when we say it's FHE time and then he will run leaving his fave thing. He loves singing and watching videos especially the FHE on DVD edition. Will add pictures here later for our computer doesn't want to upload pictures from our camera today. Anyway, we have had so much fun singing, reading, telling stories of Jesus and activities and of course the snack! We have talk about how much we are grateful to Heavenly Father and Jesus for all that we have in our lives. The foods, clothing, shelter, health and even the trials we are facing right now. We have counted how much blessings we received from THEM and that made us forget our worries and and sorrow and be hopeful for the things we needed right now. By doing so, we have strengthened each other's testimonies and faith to God the Father and His Son, Jesus.

My Own Testimony!

As far as I can remember, since I was a child I have been going to church. I don't know why; I just want to be at there on Sundays. I just feel like I need to be there. My parents goes to church occasionally, but we never go as family, just me and my siblings. They never stopped us either. I think I fear God that's why I wanted to go to church at the very young age. I love my parents because they allowed us to get baptized and for supporting us in whatever decision we made then; even when we changed our religion. I am very happy with where I am right now and for the respect I have with my family and friends who are not of my faith. I love them and support them just like they do to us!

Choices the Road of Life

"We are bombarded on all sides by a vast number of messages we don't want or need. More information is generated in a single day than we can absorb in a lifetime. To fully enjoy life, all of us must find our own breathing space and peace of mind. How can we do this? There is only one answer. We must rise above the evil that encroaches upon us. We must follow the counsel of the Lord, who said, 'It is my will, that all they who call on my name, and worship me according too mine everlasting gospel, should gather together, and stand in holy places.

~~James E Faust~~

May we each take time each day too renew our spirits and too listen for the still small voice of the spirit too guide us in our life..
