Happy Hanukkah

Hello Crafty Friends! It's Laurie here! Did you see the cute new release called Hanukkah Set? It comes with Mini Owen with Torah, Mini Emma with Challah, a menorah, a dreidel and the Star of David. I was so happy to see such cute Hanukkah images! They are so hard to find. We have friends who have two little boys that I send cards to every year. So, I knew that I wanted to colour up two Owens to represent them for my Happy Hanukkah Card. I can definitely see the younger brother wanting a Torah scroll just like his big brother’s one! Lol!

Happy 4th of July!

I would like to wish everyone a
Happy 4th of July, have a fun and safe holiday.
Today I'm going to share Sparkler Ellie from
The Paper Nest with you,
she is perfect for any 4th of July project, card, or
scrapbook page. Plus you will see how I change it
up some to make her for any occasion you want, if you have
the imagination to do it.
I made the card shape like a star, used way to much
red, white and blue paper (I think I went a little over board)

Here are a few shots i took
up close so you can see the details
the flowers were handmade by me.
  One more of Sparkler Ellie
upclose if you can tell the
Background is a bit dark, I
colored it with V20 to give it
a darkness like if it was night,
not sure how if it worked.

The inside of the card I left blank to write
whatever you want or add a sentiment
from a stamp.
Now take a look at the sentiment it kinda fell sorry
but I changed it so she can be used for many
things as I said before.

Thankyou for looking, and how a
wonderful week and holiday.
Loriann.

Summer Lovin'

Howdy y'all today I'm going to share with you Bikini Ellie
from The Paper Nest. I thought she would be great for
summer time. Bikini Ellie is SO dang cute. I colored her
last month and could not wait to show her to y'all.
now was the task to narrow down all my 500 ideas.
(that's really hard to do)
I have all these things run though my head that will
look so cute like do  use beach paper, stickers, beach
seen, something from my cameo? this is how it goes
with every project, I can never make up mind mind
on what to do, and put it off till the last minute and then
it comes out bad.
I ended up doing this card twice, I hope I got it right the
second time. I used lots of digi stamps. I always try
to create something a bit different not the same old thing everytime.
I made a step card and layered
it with beach background, sand and waves.
I used my cameo cut everything out, used bright and light colors together.
I hope you like it, come back soon.
Here is the first pic. I took a bunch so you can see all
the glitter and dimensions

upclose are the wave and fishy.

side view so you can see the step card.

Here is bikini Ellie she looks a bit dark in this pic.

This is the sun I cut out and used my pens on my
cameo.

I hope you can see how cute it is. I know the pics
are kinda dark my light broke and have not had
a chance to replace it.

Happy Father's Card

Howdy Y'all it's Loriann from Craftymama3.blogspot.com.
I'm here share with you Owen Fishing, as soon as
I saw this image I thought it would be great for a Father's Day Card.
So off I go on what to make with the image, I always
have so many ideas for things to be honest way to many
enough for 50 projects not just one. I'm trying to go with my first thought,
it's hard because as us crafters go we want to make it all,
 Well I do!
On to the card Owen Fishing image Was colored with copic markers.
The paper I used the solid colors are DCWV, the pattern paper scrapbook
paper I have had who knows how long sorry.
I cut all the embellishment with my cameo.

Side view

The inside of the card you could put Happy Father's Day
or any other sentiment.

The whole project and pic are on my blog, I made

Country Boy Owen

Howdy!

It's Loriann from Craftymama_3.blogspot.com

Today I'm going to share with you Country Boy Owen from The Paper Nest.He is the cutest thing! There is a lot of detail in this image so I took it slow on coloring him, but I think he turn out great!

I just happened to find the John Deer
looking ribbon and I knew it would be perfect
for Country Boy Owen, then I just picked paper to match and Howdy as a sentiment, and he was done. An up close of him

The little frog is so cute!
The grass was hand done using copics.
 (I didn't write down the colors I used...sorry !)
Here's a pic of the inside... its a bit blurry sorry but the card is already gone, so here it is.

I just added the colors to make it match... simple, but cute.
Here he is one more time....Country Boy Owen !
