Mix together sugar, shortening, eggs and vanilla. Add milk, flour soda and powder to the mixture. The First Day of School YEAH!!!
The girls started their first day of school today. I put them in Promenade this year. The driving was killing me taking them up to Orange. It seems that every year I seem to get a little teary eyed. You would think that it would get easier every year. MaKayla is going into the 1st grade and has a male teacher Mr. Disillis (i think that is how you spell it) and KaiLee is going into the 4th grade she has Mrs. Harris. I have heard that they are both GREAT teachers so that is comforting. I think that I was more nervous then they were. Since they were new to the school and have to make new friends. MaKayla was excited to go to school. KaiLee said that she had some butterflies. I on the other was a nervous wreck since it was my decision to change to schools. Things went well when we dropped them off and we saw a lot of members from the ward there. There were no tears (other then mine) so that was a great sign. We will see how it went when I pick them up. I am excited to hear how their day went.

Our Little Boy "Delani"
The girls went with my sister Rachel and her husband Brian to Crescent Bay today. Delani was down at the beach and my sisters friend turned away for 1 second and a wave came up and plowed over Delani. It tossed and turned her under the water. When they got to her and pulled her from the water she was chocking a little bit. As she realized what had happened she started to LAUGH not cry like most little girls do. They brushed her off and took her back on the beach. You would think that she would be scared of the water but not "our little boy". She played the rest of the day on the beach like nothing had happened at all.
The Grocery Game
So I have been doing the grocery game for quite awhile now. For all of you that do not know what the grocery game is. It is a website that each week gives you a grocery list of items that are on sale and the coupon that goes along with the sale. You have to be a coupon clipper for this to work. Every week you can save hundreds of dollars. Check out her website at http://thegrocerygame.com/ for more info. Anyways I went shopping yesterday at Ralphs and Vons and saved a total of $84.82 at Ralphs. Before coupons and Ralphs club my total was $156.35 and I only paid $71.53. Vons was very similar but I can't find my receipt right now. I will post it later. If you like saving money you should totally look into this website.
New Blog
Ok!! So I have decided to have a blog. I figured that at least I can do my journal writing here. We will see how it goes!! I hope you all enjoy it!

A WEEK AT GIRLS CAMP
So last week was pretty great. I spent the whole week at girls camp and loved it. The girls were worried about being in a new stake. They all did awesome and made tons of new friends. They always seem to surprise me in the stuff they can accomplish when they put their minds to it. I was a cabin mom over 6 girls. 1 Mia Maid and 5 Beehives. Needless the say the Beehives kept me entertained all week. They spirit is always so strong at camp and I can hope and pray that it stays with the girls through school. With Randy gone this week it is pretty quiet. The girls are getting ready for school next week. We are getting all the last minute fun stuff in before they return back. They are looking forward to their new school and are also kind of scared. I am looking forward to them returning to school. With KaiLee in 4th grade and MaKayla in 1st Delani will be the only one home all day. So I am sure that she is going to want me to entertain her all day. Well we are off the the beach for some last minute fun!!!!
