My sister Melissa had a new baby girl on Tuesday August 12th. She was a healthy 8lbs 8oz and 19 inches. Melissa was induced and I think tht if she would have gone any longer Kirra would have weighd about 10 lbs. OUCH! Mommy and baby are doing great. Melissa had some pretty severe headaches from her epidural but they have gotten better. Kirra is such a cutie. Congrats Brett, Melissa and Tavin.
We had a great family reunion in utah this year. I always get so excited for family reunions. You get to see cousins that you have not seen for awhile and just do fun activities. This year we went to ragging waters, the zoo and we were going to go to the park and some other outdoor activities but it was way too hot. We had a great pool party at my uncle and aunts house. It was just fun being together as a family.
All I have to say is that I am torn. I am glad that it is over but also a little sad. I love working with the Youth and even though they complained in the end they all had a great time. It was a TON of work but so worth every minute. It was a couple of long days but a blast. The youth meet other youth from different stakes and they a ton of fun. I ended up helping President Nelson stage all the youth. It was a huge task but I had so much fun doing it.
