Craft Creations Ltd - Springy Flowers - updated

I did say I would show more of the cards from the last show on Create and Craft with Craft Creations from last Friday, so here are a few more.  These are from the Springy Flowers kit.  This oriental take on the springy flower theme is my favourite.  I love those curly wires!

My runner up favourite is the wired springy flower themed easel card.  Love the glitter hearts and dots embellishments on the wire!   Easel cards get my vote every time at the moment, I LOVE them!
Then there's the other gorgeous card that's so tactile.....I think everyone that came on our set felt that side panel and said oh... that feels so nice!
The purple, gingham and silver combo here is nice too, the photo doesn't show the glittery outlines of the flowers which is a shame.  It is a lovely card in real life.

Well done to all the ladies that made them.

All of the products used on these cards can be found at www.craftcreations.com

I may be back later today with another post!

Cards from Friday's Craft Creations Show - Set 1 - Hearts, Flowers and Gears

Here are some of the cards made by the team at Craft Creations for Friday's Ideal World show from the Hearts, Flowers and Gears Kit.

The kit contains everything you need to make these cards except double sided tape and 3D foam pads.

The colour theme for the kit is blue, green and silver and also includes a sheet of acetate too.

I will post more of the cards another time.

I've been having a play with Tracey's new stamps, I haven't finished the cards yet so I'll show you those cards later today or tomorrow.

LIVE SHOW on Ideal World, Friday 12th March 2pm

I am really teasing you this week with these sneak peeks!  These 2 cards are made from one of the 5 main kits on the show.

The kits and cards have been put together by the team at Craft Creations, you'll see that they have put a lot of time, thought and effort into them.  The products work perfectly together, the colour combinations are brilliant, they are the normal high quality from Craft Creations, and you are getting a great price!

Can you tell I'm impressed yet?

I just love the cards they have made, including these with the cogs and gears that are so 'in' at the moment, how great to have something different for men.  I hope you get to see all the cards, I shall certainly do my best to show as many as I can here too.

Honestly, I am really impressed with the kits as they have everything you need except double sided tape and foam pads.  There are kits for ladies and gents, plenty of elegant, retro, floral and funky styles, with fresh and trendy colour combinations.  I am sure they will be very popular and I hope you can either watch or record the show.

Craft Creations are fairly new to Create and Craft/Ideal World, I've filmed 2 live shows for them so far.  It has been a pleasure to work with them, they are one of our main suppliers that we have been buying from for over 20 years.
I must tell you about this, Jenny, Mrs Craft Creations, has made a brilliant display to show different combinations of one of the kits.  A catwalk.  Jenny hasn't just stuck the ideas any old how onto a piece of mount board, oh no!!  You'll have to watch the show to see it, when I first saw it I realised it was a showcase of Jenny's original ideas for those designs.

Perhaps I should be a little kind with my teasing and tell you that I've put links to the Craft Creation website in this post but, to save you time hunting for them, the kits are not on there.

OK, coffee break over, I'm off back to play with my kits now to get my demos prepared:)  I'll be back throwing a few more teases at you through the week about the show and other stuff.

(Whose far too excited today for her own good!)

More cards from Wednesday's Craft Creations show

The first 2 cards are from the Spring die cur decoupage kits.  There are actually 3 floral images on this sheet and all have a tag with the flowers names in coordinating colours.

The papers above are from the Spring 12" x 12" paper pack, and those below are from the Life Smiles paper pack.

I made a tag for the box and found some black mesh type ribbon for the net.  The cards above and below with the printed Happy Birthday are specially made for the Life Smiles decoupage.

All materials are available from http://www.craftcreations.com/

Please note that our shop will now be closed on Thursdays.  We are open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays (10am - 4pm) and Saturdays.(11am - 4pm).

Some cards from Wednesday's live show

I thought I'd show some of the cards from Wednesday show today.  I they are from the Craft Creations Spring and Life Smiles die cut decoupage kits, along with the paper packs, card boxes and peel offs that featured in the show.

I know most people reading my blog are stampers, but there are also people who like making decoupage cards too, so this is more for them, although I have used a background I made with Starburst stains on the card above.

I think most stampers also use background papers at some point and I really like the papers I picked to go with the the decoupage sheets.  They also worked well with the boxes.

The following card is from the Spring die cut decoupage kit.

I will be on Ideal World next Monday afternoon at 3pm with the same kits.  They have proved very popular so far.  I will also be on at noon on Create and Craft with more of our messy stuff so there will be something for everyone I am sure.

I hope you are having a lovely weekend!

Repeat times for today's Create and Craft Show

A late additional post today with repeat times of the TV show filmed today.  It's been a very eventful day, culminating with me having to arrange for more stock to be made available for the repeats as all but 2 kits had sold out.

The A1 was closed so after I'd trailed through many villages around the Newark area I ended up hitting the rush hour on the M62.  My phone kept ringing but I couldn't do anything about it until I pulled off the motorway, long story short, they had sold out so I made a number of calls and all is now set up for the repeats to go ahead with more stock.  Luckily Craft Creations make their own products so I think they will be very busy for the rest of the week as if all goes to plan, it will be repeated at the weekend as well!!  Anyway, the repeat times...

21 Jan 2010 12:00 AM - 01:00 AM

21 Jan 2010 07:00 AM - 08:00 AM

Sorry there's not much notice for the repeats.

I had to work with the lovely Howard, not easy!  Bless him!!  As with Saturday's show, I didn't get to do all my demos and you also didn't see many of the cards I made.  I have been asked to go back so you may see them on the next show, but just in case, I will post them here too.  I did manage to sneak in a Starburst Stain background, I just had to do that, for me:)

It was a strange experience for me as I'm normally a stamper and normally haul a couple of crates of stuff with me, today I only had 2 large bags and hardly any equipment on the counter.  All I needed was silicone, scissors, a couple of cocktail sticks and my tweezers and can you believe I left my tweezers at home!  I borrowed some but they didn't feel the same, you like to use your own equipment that you are used to I suppose.

I had a fraught start to the day, my Tom Tom couldn't get a signal and I was stuck at the hotel in the middle of Peterborough, a very kind employee told me it wasn't an easy route to explain and hopped into his car so I could follow him, how kind!!  I shall be telephoning is boss tomorrow:)

Anyway, enough for tonight, will post another card from Saturday's show tomorrow.
