Gift Boxes

I really love the look of the gold and cream packages, they just look so elegant.  These could be used for a special gift for a birthday or wedding just change the tag and not add jingle bells.  The box is from Kerri Bradford Santa's Workshop.  The tag was made with the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamped with the Home for the Holidays stamp set from Close to My Heart.

Pillow boxes

These fun pillow boxes are from Kerri Bradford called the Pillow Box.  I have seen a lot of things made with the gold and glitz and so I decided to try it.  The tags were made with the Art Philosophy cartridge and stamps from the Home for the Holidays stamp set from Close to my Herat.  I stamp them with gold ink which I love!!  These boxes are pretty big they will hold quite a lot.

Treat Box

EEEKKKK!!!!!  Christmas is almost here and I'm the only thing getting fat!!  It is coming so fast and there have been so many things going on that I am way behind.  Never try to build a house during Christmas!!!
Anyway for my project I made 3 little boxes that are 2" square and glued them together, so the box has 3 sections.  I then just decorated the front with a panel and some torn paper for snow and triangles for trees.  So simple and easy to do.  The tag was made with the stamp set Home for the Holidays from Close to my Heart.  This is the stamp set that goes with the cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  I made a couple shadows of the tag for more color.

Happy Birthday Card

This is a fun card to make and to give!  The belly band just slips off and the sides of the card open for plenty of space to write a sentiment.  I used Art Philosophy and George and Basic shapes and a Tim Holtz die for this.

This card has a pocket inside to hold money, gift card or whatever you want.  It was made with the Art Philosophy cartridge.  I know you are all thinking what's with all the cricut things lately…I still love my circuits, I am going to try and use them more.  The sentiments are from the computer.  The ornament was covered in glossy accents and sprinkled with glitter, love that effect.  I also sprayed it with white paint for that snowy look.

Repost of Flower Box

This is a repost, I had it removed for publication in the March issue of Cricut Magazine.

Flower box and Frame

So this was a very hard choice to make for me, so my daughter made it for me. I made two projects for the Cricut Circle magazine challenge, which was to use Echo Park paper. Then I was having a hard time deciding which one to use my little girl chose the box.
Recipe:
flowers cut at 4" from art philosophy
leaves cut at 1.5", 1.25" from flower shoppe
all edges inked
painted the box white with a paper towel to give it an unfinished look
glued down paper with mod podge
hot glued netting and string pearls to back of flowers and glued them down
added stickles in the center of the flowers
paper Echo Park Victoria Gardens

This is the other project I did. The little people are cut from cricut decals boy 3", dog and baby 2", girl 2.5" everything was glued down with mod podge and then covered with it again. The wood frame was 1 dollar from Michaels. Paper Echo Park Splash.
