If I can do this today, I can do it any day...Today's Beautiful Thing is knowing that we did the right thing. Even though it hurt. Even though we didn't want to. It wasn't about what we wanted or needed, it was about what was best for Atticus. It took all our strength and courage, but we did it. My friend Barb said it's hard standing in for angels (which was a beautiful thing to say) and I hold those words in my heart.
Sweet dreams baby boy. We'll all be together again someday.
