No zombie German officer is complete without zombie German soldiers ;p or do zombies really have a leader? All I've seen of zombies are hordes moving as one in a mob mentality without any real leadership present. In 1932, Victor Halperin directed "White Zombie", a horror film starring Bela Lugosi. This film, capitalizing on the same voodoo zombie themes as Seabrook's book of three years prior, is often regarded as the first legitimate zombie film, and introduced the word "zombie" to the wider world.

A new version of the zombie, distinct from that described in Haitian religion, has emerged in popular culture in recent decades. This "zombie" is taken largely from George A. Romero's seminal film "The Night of the Living Dead", which was in turn partly inspired by Richard Matheson's 1954 novel "I Am Legend". The word zombie is not used in "Night of the Living Dead", but was applied later by fans. The monsters in the film and its sequels, such as "Dawn of the Dead" and "Day of the Dead", as well as its many inspired works, such as "Return of the Living Dead" and "Zombi 2", are usually hungry for human flesh although "Return of the Living Dead" introduced the popular concept of zombies eating brains.

[Damtoys x Kow Yokoyama] 1/12 scale Gans Boy U-2 16cm tall action figure (inspired by Ma.K)

Kow Yokoyama: Famous Japanese Illustrator & Toy Designer. He is exceptional at mechanical sci-fi settings, and has the title of "Father of Science Fiction Military" in Japan. His work "Maschinen Krieger ZbV 3000" (Ma.K) is loved by sci-fi enthusiasts all over the world. The rich brushstrokes and color changes are faithful to the elaborate hand-painting technique advocated by Mr. Yokoyama, instead of traditional machine painting. Exploring based on the original design, a more detailed adjustment has made this Gans Boy even cuter & more well-proportionate. Dam Toys 1/6th scale Russian Spetsnaz MVD SOBR LYNX 12-inch action figure preview pics

The Special Rapid Response Unit or SOBR, comprises a spetsnaz unit of the Russian Interior Ministry (MVD). Russian SOBR units, staffed by senior-ranking police officers, receive better training than the members of OMON (which is a cross between riot police and paramilitary police). They carry out SWAT-type special operations under the jurisdiction of the MVD, including the apprehension of dangerous criminals, high-profile raids, etc.

Damtoys’ release of Edward Kenway 1/6th scale collectible figure, protagonist from Ubisoft classic action-adventure video game Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, received much attention from fans. Since them, we’ve put our shoulders to the wheel to release the Assassin's Creed Altaïr the Mentor 1/6th scale collectible figure.

Altaïr, a Syrian assassin of the Middle Ages, earned the title of Master Assassin at age 25. He was tasked to destroy the nine-men Templar Order in the Holy Land. During the year-long task, Altaïr gradually changed his ways and liberated the Kingdom from their corrupted rule, but discovered an even more sinister conspiracy as the mission progressed. Upon killing the nine men and the Assassins’ traitor, then Mentor Al Mualim, Altaïr became Mentor, taking the Assassins to a new era.

Damtoys has specially chosen to use a 31cm tall, highly poseable body based on the CG character’s shape and proportion. In addition, it has an all-new head sculpt crafted based on the character’s facial expression to capture his aloofness and scarred lips, a carefully created long all-white Assassin robes and an equipment kit. The wide array of weapons and accessories includes a longsword, a short blade, four throwing knives (waist), five daggers (back sheath), iconic Hidden Blade, multiple pairs of interchangeable hands with missing ring finger and a dedicated stone brick design figure stand with the game logo printed.

DAMTOYS officially announce, from 20th Century Fox production, an Ubisoft classic game adaptation, "Assassin's Creed" movie Aguilar 1/6th scale Collectible Figure

In the Assassin’s Creed movie, the protagonist Aguilar was portrayed by famous actor Michael Fassbender. Damtoys has therefore specially chosen to use a 31cm tall, highly poseable body, based on the character’s build and body proportion. At the same time, the Damtoys production team has perfectly created a complete 1/6th scale set of movie costumes, with movie-accurate textures, patterns, elements and antique finishing, allowing players to display the Assassins in their classic dynamic poses.

Skillfully and meticulously crafted by our professional head sculptor, the head sculpt of this figure details the facial contours of Michael Fassbender in his role as Assassin. With his unruly hair, thick beard and facial tattoo, it vividly captures the character’s demeanor. Dam Toys 1/6th scale ”The Green Berets” U.S. Army Special Forces In Afghanistan 12" figure

The United States Army Special Forces, colloquially known as the Green Berets due to their distinctive service headgear, are a special operations force tasked with five primary missions: unconventional warfare (the original and most important mission of Special Forces), foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, and counter-terrorism. The first two emphasize language, cultural, and training skills in working with foreign troops. Other duties include combat search and rescue (CSAR), counter-narcotics, counter-proliferation, hostage rescue, humanitarian assistance, humanitarian demining, information operations, peacekeeping, psychological operations, security assistance, and manhunts; other components of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) or other U.S. government activities may also specialize in these secondary areas.

This appears to be a remake of the classic Hot Toys 1/6th scale NSW DEVGRU (Naval Special Warfare Development Group) operator, released in 2003 - check out my post from 2012 "October 7 – The Day the War in Afghanistan Began with U.S. Special Forces leading the way" (link HERE). I think Dam Toys should have gone with seamless arms. Bowen is a nephew of the Heart of K, head of Heart family. His mother was K’s little sister. Growing up in a prestigious environment and under the influence of his mother, Bowen found an interest in filming since he was a child. He got an 8mm camcorder as a gift from his mother on his 12th birthday, and started filming everything with it. It was his favorite gift and memorized many happy moments.

Force Reconnaissance (FORECON) is one of the United States Marine Corps' special operations capable forces (SOC) that provides essential elements of military intelligence to the command element of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF), by supporting their task force commanders, and their subordinate operating units of the Fleet Marine Force (FMF).

FORECON is responsible for operating independently behind enemy lines performing unconventional special operations, in support of conventional warfare. Even now, toy and action figure companies are still wanting to make 12-inch figures of Steve Jobs and no one cares for a 1/6th scale Bill Gates. Wonder Why? In the ultra-hip, multi-strand 1994 black comedy neo-noir crime film "Pulp Fiction" written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, their storyline is interwoven with those of their boss, gangster Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames); his actress wife, Mia (Uma Thurman); struggling boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis); master fixer Winston Wolfe (Harvey Keitel) and a nervous pair of armed robbers, "Pumpkin" (Tim Roth) and "Honey Bunny" (Amanda Plummer). Navy SEALS is a 1990 American military action film, directed by Lewis Teague, and starring Charlie Sheen as Lieutenant Junior Grade Dale Hawkins, Michael Biehn as Lieutenant James Curran, Bill Paxton as MM2(SEAL) Floyd "God" Dane: Sniper and Joanne Whalley-Kilmer. Navy special operations forces go to the Middle East to free a helicopter crew taken captive by terrorist Ben Shaheed (Nicholas Kadi). After learning that Shaheed has killed a hostage and acquired missiles on the black market, Lt. James Curran (Michael Biehn) and Lt. Dale Hawkins (Charlie Sheen) consult with a reporter who is an expert on Shaheed and his motives.
