Paisley's for Hubbie

My husband, Fuzzy has loved paisleys since the 60's when he wore a paisley tie each day to Catholic High School. So for a surprise this year I created a piasley wall hanging for him with the blocks from the round robin I was in earlier this year. I could not find any black background paisley to surround the blocks, so I went with the peace sign motif.  A little busy for some people, but he loved it....

Fuzzy's Stocking

Here is the Christmas Stocking I made for my husband two years ago. I never posted it. I tried to include all his interests and likes on it: Baseball, paisley, photography, music and jazz, his dog, cooking, AA and me of course!

Winter/Holiday Round Robin Finale

After literally traveling around the world my Holiday/Winter blocks are back. Somehow they ended up in Finland twice and then to South America before returning to the proper rotation. Needless to say, I am happy they are back, even though 5 months behind!

From Meg in Uruguay

From Helina in Finland

The Swedish block is left for me to do.

One dollar heirlooms

At a rummage sale recently I came across these gorgeous stockings for $1 a piece. Someone put a lot of work into them. I am pleased I can have them for my own.

Cracker 2

Cracker 2 was opened Christmas Day. It was from Josie, in Texas. The first thing I noticed was the cover with the spider spelling out Merry Christmas! Inside was a treasure of lovely things. Laces, buttons, threads, fabrics, beads, and a pretty silkie. Lastly, she included a recipe card with a map of Texas on it as a momento.  Thank you Josie!

Cracker 1

I opened 1 of the 2 Christmas Crackers I received through CQI. This is what I received from Meg in South America.  I really liked the lace piece, chocolate and pretty yellow ribbon. Thank You, Meg.
