I didn't take any pictures today and don't really have much to share so thought I'd check back on what I was doing this time last year when I was in Hattiesburg, MS taking care of my mom.
Turns out, I didn't take any pictures on that day either.
But, since it is Black History Month, I thought I'd share this sculpture and plaque that is on the campus of my brother's alma mater.

I love sculptures, and this one is very nice. I'm taking back, as the lawn chairs in the photo, are just like the ones we had in our back yard.
She sounds like a great woman. This world could use more like her.

A lovely sculpture! And as inviting as a friend's porch. I wonder how many people have had their photograph taken sitting in the second chair.
