From the "Not exactly news" file.
Another Republican told another lie again.
It's what they do. It's all they've got. It's a major reason that...

From the "Me too" file.
Tom Levenson, on Walker & Co.'s defiance of the Wisconsin courts…
...I’ll say to all those right bloggers who maunder on about Obamacare or the Libyan attacks or birth certificates or whatever, if you wish to invoke the words “rule of law” you better have something to say here.Me too.

Well, yeah…
“Gov. Walker has repeatedly said that we won’t negotiate the budget,” Cullen Werwie, a spokesman for Mr. Walker, said. The Democrats “should stop shirking their responsibilities” and “come back to Wisconsin to do their job.”…but their job, part of it, anyway, is to negotiate the budget. Haven't seen a better demonstration of the essential totalitarianism of contemporary Conservatism lately.

Good question…
…for Governor Walker, asked in the form of an epic rant by the Rude Pundit. Here's the nub...
Did you really think that you could merely spit on those corpses and walk away unscathed?…but you really need the context. As usual, he's not only rude, but profane. And perfect.

Thanks a hundred and sixty one million…
…to Republican Governors-elect John Kasich and Scott Walker, who are giving up federal stimulus money for rail projects in their states. It'll be spread around a bit, but that's a nice chunk coming to the upper left...
The other states that will get Ohio and Wisconsin’s money will be Washington, which will get up to $161 million; Illinois, which will get $42.3 million; and New York, Maine, Massachusetts, Missouri, Oregon, North Carolina, Iowa, and Indiana, which will all get less than $10 million. So, thanks again, guys. We can use the money. And the jobs. The trains, too.
(I'm just guessing, but I'm betting that it's an educated guess, that thanks are also in order to Senator Murray for getting us such a prime spot on that list.)
