Kleurenkaartenteam 5de schakel Donkergrijs + Zalmrose

Goeiemorgen allemaal,

De laatste woensdag van de maand, een dag waar we altijd heel erg naar uitkijken. Omdat die dag zoals jullie ondertussen wel weten het kleurenkaartenteam hun creaties op blogland los laat. 

Good morning all,

It's the last wednesday of the month, a day we always look foreward too. Because that's the day the colorcard team releases their creations and spreads them all over blogland.

Het donkergrijs is meegenomen van vorige maand en Larissa mocht daar ditmaal de nieuwe kleur bij kiezen. Zij ging voor zalmroze. Dat is dus de combinatie waar we deze maand mee aan de slag moesten donkergrijs + zalmroze.

We kept the dark grey from last month and Larissa was the lucky one to choose the new colour. She chose salmon, so that's the combination we had to work with this month. Dark grey + Salmon.

Ik vond het meteen een mooie combi maar wel een lastige in die zin bij de ene fabrikant ziet zalmrose er zo uit bij de andere weer anders. De juiste kleurtoon vast krijgen was het moeilijke aan deze opdracht. Dus als het niet helemaal 100% klopt hey, ik heb mijn best gedaan. Ik was zelfs vorige donderdag al klaar met mijn kaartjes. Een ware primeur voor mij LOL.

I found this a beautiful combination but a hard one. The difficult part on this assignment was to grasp the right colour tone for the salmon. If you buy 5 different brands of salmon cardstock they all look very different. So if the salmon is not exactly 100% hey, I did my best okay. I even had all my cards ready last thursday, that's the first time I was ready so soon. LOL

Het karton dat ik voor de embossing gebruikt heb is gekocht als zalmrose maar op de foto lijkt het wel oranje. Is het niet hoor!

Op deze kaart zie je het zalmrose helemaal niet zo goed.

4de Kleurenschakel 2018 / 4th color chain 2018

Hoi, hoi allemaal,

Nelleke vraagt en krijgt mosterd geel met donker grijs. Het is alweer de laatste woensdag van de maand en dat wil zeggen dat het kleuren schakel team weer in actie komt. Het mosterdgeel is gebleven van vorige maand en daar heeft Nelleke donker grijs bij gekozen. Ben benieuwd wat iedereen heeft gedaan met deze mooie combo. Mooi maar moeilijker dan ik gedacht had. :-(

Hi, hi everyone,

Nelleke asks and gets mustard yellow + dark grey. It's already the last wednesday of the month and that means the color chain team comes in action. The mustard yellow was left over from last month and Nelleke could choose the new color and her choice was dark grey. A beautiful yet more difficult combo than I had thought.

Mijn excuses maar ik heb alweer de kaarten in elkaar moeten flansen want ik was het totaal vergeten. Maar ik ben er wel opnieuw in geslaagd om weer een mannenkaart te maken. Hier komen mijn kaarten.

My appologies to everyone who participates but again I had to throw my cards together since I had totally forgotten about it. But I again succeeded to make a male card. So here they are.

Eerst de mannenkaart. First the male card.

Sorry Nelleke het grijs ziet er lichter uit dan in het echt.

Met Brilliance Starlite Silver de achtergrond gekleurd. Met donker grijze inkt de handlettering erop gestempeld. De letters ingekleurd met een mosterdgele aqua flow marker van Nuvo. Tot slot met donker grijs nog de dassen, de hoed, bril en het strikje erop gestempeld. Gekleefd op een donker grijze basis kaart en klaar.

I coloured the background with Brilliance Starlite Silver. With dark grey ink I stamped the handlettering wich says Congratulations. I coloured in the letters with a Nuvo aqua flow marker in mustard yellow. To finish up I stamped in dark grey the ties, hat, glasses and bow tie. Adhered it to a dark grey base card and ready.

Nummer 2 is een puur stempel kaartje.

Op wit karton heb ik met donker grijze inkt de krans, vogel en dergelijke gestempeld. Daarna heb ik mosterd geel aangebracht en met een fijn zwart stiftje de omkadering getekend. Opgekleefd op donker grijs basis karton en klaar.

On white cardstock I stamped the wreath, bird, pine cones etc. with dark grey ink. Then I added touches of mustard yellow. Finally I drew by hand the frame with a black fine liner. Adhered it to a dark grey base card and finito.

En dan nummer 3 alweer een stempel kaart hoe kan het ook anders ?

Eerst heb ik op aquarel papier het mosterdgeel aangebracht met een Aqua flow marker van Nuvo en water. Daarna heb ik eerst de tekst gestempeld met donker grijs. Daarna de bloemen met donker grijs gestempeld en ingekleurd met grijze alcohol markers van Nuvo. In de vrije hoekjes nog een structuur stempel gezet met donker grijs maar in tweede generatie gestempeld. Dan dat paneeltje op donker grijd karton gekleefd. Een witte basis kaart waar ik de lijnen op gestempeld heb met donker grijs. Klaar.

First I added the mustard yellow color onto water color cardstock. For this I used a Nuvo aqua flow marker and water. Then I first stamped the sentiment. (it says How beautiful is the Now) Then I stamped the flowers in dark grey and colored them in with Nuvo grey alcohol markers. Added some texture stamps in the open corners in second generation stamping. I adhered this panel to a dark grey panel. On a white base card I stamped the lines in dark grey and then adhered the smal panel with foam tape. Ready.

Zo dat is mijn bijdrage aan de 4de kleurenschakel van 2018. Ik ben heel benieuwd wat iedereen gemaakt heeft met deze combinatie. 3e KKT en nieuws

Hallo allemaal,

Het is alweer de laatste woensdag van de maand en dan komt het kleurenkaarten team weer in actie. Sarah heeft bij het licht turquoise van vorige maand mosterdgeel gekozen. Ik vond het onmiddellijk een mooie combinatie.

Hi everyone,

It's already the last wednesday of the month and that means it's time for the colour chain team. Sarah chose mustard yellow to go along with the light turquoise that was left over from last month. I immediately liked this combination.

Het zal wel avond zijn eer ik bij jullie langs kan komen omdat ik onverwacht in spoed naar het hospitaal in Leuven moet. Sinds zondag is aan de rechterzijde mijn tandvlees rood en opgezwollen en heb ik elke dag bloedingen. De tandtechnicus die de afwerking van mijn mond gaat doen vond het raadzaam om er een foto van te nemen en naar Leuven te sturen. Dat was maandag avond en er kwam direct de reactie dat ik naar het ziekenhuis moet komen om uit te sluiten dat één van de titanium plaatjes of bouten onstoken zijn. Het is ook zeer pijnlijk dus weer last erbij.

I won't be visiting your blogs until this evening since I have to go to the hospital. Since sunday evening on the right hand side I have a lot of pain, bleeding and swollenness on my gum. They need to be sure there is no infection on the titanium plates in my jaw or on the bolts that keep the plates in their place. It's pretty painfull too.

Maar hier zijn mijn kaarten. Here are my cards.

De woodware bloemen stempel erop gezet met wit embossing poeder. Daarna ingekleurd met Nuvo Alcohol markers de turquoise set. Rondom mosterd gele inkt aangebracht en opgekleefd op een lich turquoise basis kaart.

I did the woodware flower stamp with white embossing powder. Then I coloured in the flowers with Nuvo Alcohol markers the turquoise set. Added musterd yellow ink around and adhered onto a light turquoise base card.

En deze maand is er terug een mannen/jonge kerel kaart bij.

And this month I have again a male card or for a young guy.

Achtergrond gemaakt met Nuvo Aqua Flow markers. De kever erop gestempeld alsook de handlettering tekst. Beide ingekleurd met dezelfde Aqua Flow markers. Met twee stencils de gears en de lijnen onder de kever aangebracht. De sleutels er nog op gestempeld en opgekleefd op een turquoise basis kaart.

I made the background with Nuvo Aqua Flow markers. I stamped the beetle car and the handlettering text. I coloured in both with the same Aqua Flow markers. I used two stencils to add the gears and the lines underneath the car. I adhered it to a turquoise base card.

2e KKT van 2018 Donkerblauw en licht Turquoise

Hoi, hoi allemaal,

Martina dank je wel om me toch nog op de lijst te zetten. Het was namelijk al na 22u toen ik aanmeldde. 

We waren toch op de hobby beurs in Antwerpen gaan staan maar het was gewoon te snel na de zware operatie en ik was helemaal over mijn grens gegaan. Gevolg goed ziek daarna en dus Martina's deadline niet gelezen en het KKT ook vergeten. Maar ik ben er dus toch bij al is het ditmaal met slechts 1 kaartje. De combi waar we mee aan de slag moesten: het donkerblauwe van vorige maand bleef en daar kwam licht turquoise bij. Ben benieuwd.

Hi everyone,

Today it's colour chain time the seconf for 2018. I almost didn(t make it due to sickness. The color combo we had to work with: the dark blue stayed from last month and the added colour is turquoise.

Het is een heel eenvoudig kaartje geworden. Ik heb strippen donkerblauw gemaakt met VersaMagic inkt en met donkerblauwe VersaFine Clair op die strippen gestempeld. Op de open strippen heb ik Nuvo Pure Sheen glitter Turquoise aangebracht. Nog een tekstje en klaar. Beneden de lijst met gebruikte materialen.

It's a very simple card. I injed up strips on my card in dark blue VersaMagic ink. Then I stamped on these strips with VersaFine Clair dark blu ink. On the open strips in between I added Nuvo Pure Sheen glitter Turquoise. A sentiment and done.

KKT 01/2018 Blauw+Zilver

Hallo allemaal,

Het is de derde woensdag van de maand en dat wil zeggen tijd voor het Kleurenkaarten team. Ik heb nog steeds mijn zin om te knutselen niet terug gevonden en wilde eerst niet mee doen. Maar het zou jammer zijn om de schakel nu te onderbreken. En dus heb ik gisteren namiddag snel 3 kaarten in elkaar gegooid. Het lukte echt niet om er mijn tijd voor te nemen om iets deftigs te maken.

It's the thirth wednesday of the month and that means time for the colour chain team. I still don't have my mojo back or the desire to craft. Therefore at first I wanted to skipp this one but it would be sad to break the chain now and so I litterally threw 3 cards together yesterday afternoon. I still can't take my time to make something decent.

Nancy S. koos bij het zilver van vorige maand donkerblauw.

We kept the silver from last month and Nancy S. chose dark blue to add to the silver. Our 2 colours to work with.

Bij de eerste kaart (die hieronder) zei mijn man, schat het is eraan te zien dat je ze van ver in elkaar hebt gesmeten en die kale hoek rechts boven, de kaart lijkt wel niet af te zijn. Dus heb ik daar mijn watermerk maar gezet LOL.

The first one (here below) my DH his comment was, honey it shows you threw the card together it looks so unfinished especially the big empty top right corner. So I added my watermark there LOL.

Voor de eerste kaart heb ik aquarell papier genomen en daar eerst water op gesprayt en daarna Lindy's Magical Shaker in twee kleuren erover. Goed gedroogd met de heat tool. Dan de Lavinia bloemen erop gezet met zilver embossing poeder. Nog een rand donkerblauwe inkt en op een basis kaart kleven--klaar!

For the first one I took water colour paper sprayed it with water and then sprinkled two colours of Lindy's Magical Shaker on it. Dried it very well with my heat tool. Then I added the Lavinia flowers with silver embossing powder. Add a dark blue ink edge all around, adhered to a base card--ready!

Voor de tweede kaart een paneel donkerblauw karton gekleefd op een witte basis kaart. Daarop een tekstje met zilver embossing poeder en een bloementoef. De bloemen zijn van vellum waarop gestempeld is en bewerkt met zilver embossing poeder.

For the second card I took a panel dark blue card, adhered onto a white base card. On the blue panel I put a sentiment with silver embossing powder. Added a flower arrangement. This is made from vellum or parchment paper on which I stamped and heat set with silver embossing powder.

En natuurlijk moest ik ook nu een mannenkaart proberen te maken. Wit karton, daar drie kleuren VersaMagic op aangebracht van licht naar donker. Met twee stencils accenten aangebracht. Een strook wit karton gescheurd en gekleurd met de midden toon van de blauwe inkt. Bestempeld en onderaan opgekleefd. De auto is met zilver embossing poeder en dan blauw gemaakt met inkt. Ook de tekst is met zilver embossing poeder.

And ofcourse I had to try to make a male card. White cardstock on which I added 3 tones of blue VersaMagic ink. Added some accents with two different stencils. Tear a piece of cardstock, colour it with the mid tone of the blues, some stamping on it and adhered at the bottom of the card. The card is with silver EP and coloured in with ink. Also the big word which says Co,gratulations is with silver EP.
