Born to be wild - by Arwen

 Hi Lovelies 💜❤

It's my turn again, to share my DT project.

This time, I created an Art Journal page and I wanna show you my single steps.

But first - the finished page:

Some close-ups:

And these are the single steps:

1.) I choose my paper, cut it into the right size and choose my rubber images.

2.) I created a mask, because I wanna use colorspray.

After this, I stamp my main image onto my page.

3.) I used two kinds of colorspray and stamped my background with another rubber image. For this, I used pink instead of black.

4.) Now, I can color my image and add some Glimmer sprinkles.

5.) For my page, I need some more pieces of the Ticket stamp. After coloring with Distress Reinker and cutting out, they're ready to work with.

6.) At last, I used a stencil and texture paste to finish my background.

Adding the text and voilá - a new Art Journal page.

I hope, you like it 😻

All stamps, I used:

- Banksy Circus Bear

- Born to be wild

- Admit one ticket

other materials:

- Canson Mix Media Imagine

- Staz on

- Waterbrush

- Distress Oxide

- Dylusion colorspray

- Dylusion Glimmer spray

- Tim Holtz stencil (Mini stencil Set 1)

Why fit in..

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the blog where today I am sharing a journal page.

and here is how I made it:

I got the new Distress Oxide Speckled Egg this week and had to try it out.. So I made this page with it and really liked it. I just smooshed the ink pad on my non stick craft sheet and spritzed with water, I then dunked the paper in, drying it between dunking.
I used Speckled Egg, Ground Espresso and Antique Linen.

Next I added some modelling paste through a stencil.

I then used another stencil as a stamp and printed it here and there on the page. I used the Ground Espresso ink again. You smear it over the stencil, spritz with water and print on your page.

Next I stamped the page here and there. You'll find a list of stamps used at the bottom of this post.

She is sooo cute, sitting in her box... lol, I stamped her and coloured her. When I was done I cut her out.

And here it is all put together..

I used the following stamps:

Other materials:
Mixed Media paper
Distress Oxide Ink - Speckled Egg, Antique Linen and Ground Espresso
(I also used these same inks for stamping)
Versafine Clair ink to stamp the image
Zig Clean colour brush Markers
Grunge paste

Thank you so much for stopping by today !

Easy Easter Mail Art

Hello Again!

I'm back with more cute
Easter Mail Art!

Stamps Used:

Ok, so this time I totally forgot to take some action shots.

Start by stamping your group of bunnies, then mask them off.  Next, stamp your cross with lilies.

You can see here I have done that then began to color my cross and flowers.
(you can remove the mask to color, but i chose not to for some reason)

Now remove the bunny mask so that you can color them too!
(I chose browns , because i think of "chocolate bunnies")

So, after everything was colored I re-masked my bunnies then added a layer of yellow ink over the background.  When I was satisfied with that, I used layering stencils with pink and yellow to add more details.

Whimsical Lady Tag ► Majo

Good morning, my dear crafty friends.

Today I'd like to show you a tag with one of my favorite stamps .... no, not the butterfly wings (I know I use them almost always) but with the Whimsical Lady, I just love her!

Let's get started without any further ado ...

I started with a tag, a stencil and *Broken China* Distress Ink.

I added Distress Spray Paint in three different colours. Make sure you let each layer dry in between, otherwise you will not get the "spotty" effect!

I stamped the flower and also a sentiment with
*Broken China* Distress Ink for more interest on the background.

To highlight the petals just a tad, I lightly used bleach with a tiny brush.

The pretty lady and the wings were fuzzy cut, coloured and added to the tag with pop dots.

I stamped the sentiment, which I think fit her attitude perfect, and adhered it with pop dots.

A chiffon bow finished my Whimsical Lady Tag.

These are the stamps I used:

I hope you enjoyed my little tutorial, see you next time.

Happy Crafting ♥

Banksy Rolodex cards with Majo

Hello everyone,

today is my turn for another tutorial for you.

I haven't made any Rolodex cards in years. I once made a whole wheel as a present for a friend, now I thought it was time again to start a new one.

I bought some ready made cards, but they were so thin, I had to glue two together. I didn't like that, so I cut my own and use a corner rounder and the Heidi Swapp punch. It's an American Crafts Metall memorydex 2-Bay Loch punch.

I started by creating a master board with Distress Oxides, stencils and stamps:

I cut the cards (2 ¼ x 4"), rounded the corners and punched the holes for the wheel.

I stamped Banksy images and sentiments on my cards.

I wanted to get extra attention to the text, so I stamped it again on cardstock and adhered it to the cards.

All I had to do now was distress all edges and get the cards "wheeling".

These are all the stamps I used:

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a good Wednesday and Happy Crafting ♥
