Abstract Painting by Fiona

Hello gorgeous VLVS! peeps! Fiona here with you today to share a 12x12 abstract art piece I created using some of the VLV Stamps!!

I'm having a bit of a Fluro fest at the moment. It's ok .... I'm sure it's just a phase. LOL!

So while I work it out of my system I thought I'd make some abstracts. This one is on a 12x12 gesso board and I've embellished it with my FAVOURITE stamp "Doodle Circle" Thank you DeeDee you are my hero!

I also added the Tape X because it's SOOOOOO cool!!!

And a little bit of bubble wrap texture wich always goes with whatever you put it with.

Mail Art Monday by Jenn Engle

Hey Everyone! I two envelopes to share today. The first one is one of my favorite ways to decorate my envelopes and so much fun to do! You could use the same background technique over and over and just changed out the stamps you use for a different look every time.

Be sure to check out the process video and a list of all the stamps I used at the bottom of this post.

Here is a complete start to finish video of my Mail Art piece!

STAMPS USED:

The second envelope I have to share is much simpler to make and takes way less time.

She Spread Her Wings Journal Page by Fiona Paltridge

Hello VLVS friends. Fiona here with you today to share a little art journal page I made.

I am really enjoying exploring a lot of colour in my creations lately.

I suppose you could say I'm spreading my wings just like my journal page suggests.

All of the colour I've added is with my watercolors. I have a little set of "Brights" that are my absolute favourite.

A lashing of gesso and then a seriously amazing amount of colour!! My fave new recipe.

Thank you for popping by and checking out my latest creation xx

Guest Designer >> Tiffany Goff Smith

Today we have a great mixed media artist joining us. I stumbled upon her on facebook and am excited to have her along!

Introducing Tiffany Smith:

Hi I'm Tiffany Smith a southern belle from the beautiful Gulf Coast of Alabama. I have a passion to create unique, colorful and textured pieces of art. Growing up in a home with a mother that was always drawing, crocheting, knitting or painting. Trying new things is built in DNA. It is extremely therapeutic to walk into my studio and began to slap paint in my journal or latest project. I hope you enjoy what I have made for you today.

And now I'll let her take over:

Tiffany Smith here I will be your guest designer today.

It's something about the month of February that just draws you to hearts, I mean they are EVERYWHERE I look. So for today I have created a cute little wall hanging out of recycled cardboard. I have a passion (well some may say an obsession) for taking ordinary "junk" and giving it new life. In this mixed media project I used layers of cardboard, vintage handwritten letter, gesso, muslin fabric, acrylic paints and the Stitching and Tape X stamps from Viva Las VegaStamps!.

The thing I love most about these stamps is they are so versatile in my projects I love to add layers and texture and they are perfect for doing just that.

Thanks so much for joining us today Tiffany! Your work is so great and we're honored to have you here  using our rubber stamps.
