Ocean Treasures Card with 72 Count Pearls

Candy here and today I am sharing my Ocean Treasures Card featuring Want2Scrap's 72 Count - White Pearls and 72 Count - Lavender Pearls.  The design paper is from Heartfelt Creations Under the Sea Paper Collection.

I die cut the seashell images from the design paper using the seashell dies from Heartfelt Creations Tropical Hibiscus Die and added Art Glitter Ultrafine Transparent Glitter in Crystal and Art Glitter Chunky Opaque Hologram Glitter in Jet Eye for some extra sparkle.  I adhered a medium pearl to the clam shell from the 72 Count - White Pearls.

I die cut the fish from the design paper using the coordinating die from Heartfelt Creations Under the Sea Die set and adhered it to the card front with pop dots.  Finally, I adhered a large pearl from the 72 Count - Lavender Pearls to the card front.

With Love Daisy Card

Candy here and today I am sharing my With Love Daisy Card featuring Want2Scrap's Sleek Strips 12" Iridescent Rhinestones and 72 Count - Pink Pearls,

I stamped the beautiful image using Sparkle 'N Sprinkle Thinking of You Stamp Set (769P6) and colored it with Copics.  I added Sparkle 'N Sprinkle Starfire Semi-Transparent Glitter (G1017) to the petals and Mimosa Sparkle N Soft (SS114) to the centers of each daisy.  I adhered   Pink Pearls to the edges of the die cut.

I embossed the sentiment using Sparkle 'N Sprinkle Fiery Brown Embossing Powder (EP369) and added Sleek Strips 12" Iridescent Rhinestones to the top and bottom of the 6" x 6" card.

Mixed Media Canvas Blooms with Bling!

Susie here today with another mixed media canvas that is blooming with Want2Scrap bling!

I created the background on my mini canvas using Violet and Ultramarine Blue Color Bursts pigment powder.  I started by misting the canvas with water then I tapped out a tiny bit of each powder.   As the color started to develop I tilted the canvas back and forth.  I also used a wet paintbrush to move the water color around a little bit.  I even had fun with my heat gun, blowing the color around a bit more before finally drying the canvas.

I used an adhesive alpha to add the word "bloom".

Using a baby wipe, I gently patted the area over and around the letter stickers, removing a layer of color.

When I peeled the letters off, the darker original color reveals the word.

Next I applied purple ink through the Mosaic stencil from Rebecca Baer Designs.

Love the result!!  Now it is ready  for some pictures and embellishments!

As I was working on this canvas, I found that I used way too much water and Color Burst color!  I used a paper towel to wipe the excess up off of my craft mat and quite frankly I decided all of that gorgeous color was to good to waste!

I cut out lots of flowers so I could layer them together and then added an 8mm Orange Rhinestone in the center!

The final touch is a small piece of the Fancy That Bling Border!

Want2Scrap's Rainbow of Bling!

Hello!  Susie hosting the blog today and I am sharing a mixed media canvas that features a rainbow of Want2Scrap bling!

I started by creating a water color pallet with 5 bright shades of Color Bursts.

I free handed a simple arch shape from the upper right of the canvas to the lower left.  I started at the bottom with purple, letting each color dry before I added the next band.

The Design Team recently had an opportunity to choose some products from Sparkle N Sprinkle, one of our Cross Promotional Partners.  I fell in love with the silhouetted images and sentiments on the Splish Splash Rubber Stamp set!  I stamped and heat embossed one of the images and a sentiment with Black Opaque Embossing Powder.

I collected coordinating colors of bling for each color band of the rainbow.  I didn't actually have yellow in my stash, so I substituted with the Irridescent Rhinestones (which I think are my favorite anyway!)  I chose the 3mm size from each of the packages.  The fact that the bling is self-adhesive made it really easy to accent a portion of each color band with approximately 10 gems!

Coffee Steam with Rhinestone Swirls Finesse!

Susie here today with a coffee themed layout featuring rhinestone steam using Swirls Finesse from Want2Scrap!  My daughter got a really cute owl coffee mug as a gift from one of her best girlfriends and just I had to snap some pictures!  Grid style layouts are really popular right now and I had a lot of fun putting this one together.

Yes, she was less than enthusiastic about my photo shoot, but this little bit of bling from Swirls Finesse really brightened up this first square!

I embellished this sentiment using 72 Count Dark Green Rhinestones.

The centerpiece of the layout - and the part I love the best - is this lovely, shiney burst of steam created with Brown Rhinestone Swirls Finesse!

Just a touch here and there using more of the Dark Green 72 Count rhinestones...

Baby Album with Bling!

Susie here today with the perfect gift for a new mom: a baby album with bling!

My niece recently had a beautiful, brand new baby gift!  As a gift, I created an 8"x8" album using the Cuddle Girl Collection from Authentique.  Realizing that she is an exhausted new mommy, I made it super simple by putting a blank photo mat on each page.  All she has to do is print out a 4"x6"  and adhere it in place.  And then I made it super special by adding little bits of Want2Scrap bling to each page!  Have a look!
