Family Voting Plan
The 2004 presidential election is shaping up to be just as close as 2000 -- when tens of thousands of voters were disenfranchised and the election was decided by just a few votes.
With the election this tight, every single vote will make a difference. That's why the DNC has put together the Family Voting Plan to help you get your family to the polls and ensure that every vote is counted. Getting started is easy:
- Download the plan today and use it as a guide to help prepare your family for Election Day.
- Distribute the plan at your family reunion and at community meetings. (You'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the file.)
- Sign our pledge and join thousands of other Americans working for a successful Election Day.
- Sign up for election updates from the Voting Rights Institute.
In an election where just a few votes can determine the presidency, we must make sure that every American exercises the right to vote. Help us make sure every vote counts with our Family Voting Plan today!

In 2000, the election was decided by 537 votes. In 2004, it could be even closer. It is critical that every vote is counted this November.
I pledge to work with my family to ensure that every member votes successfully on Election Day 2004. We will join the voices of thousands of other Americans who believe that one vote wasted is one too many. We cannot allow a repeat of the 2000 election, where tens of thousands of votes went uncounted.
