IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The "comments" field for user pictures is not yet live for all users. Due to the method in which it was implemented only newly created accounts have access to use it. LiveJournal is working to upgrade all accounts so they can add comments for their user pictures, but it is unknown when upgrades will be completed. It is not necessary to open a support request about it; your account will be upgraded as soon as possible.
LiveJournal HTML security code has recently been updated so that it is now stricter concerning invalid characters and markup in your entries. If you are having a problem concerning an error such as, "irreparable invalid markup in entry" please read the FAQ concerning this problem for more information before opening a support request.
Many Internet Service Providers are blocking LiveJournal comment email as "spam". If you are not receiving your comment emails, please see Where are my comment notification emails? for further information, and then contact your email provider.
If you are opening a Support request regarding your journal or friends page not appearing to update properly, please clear your browser cache before opening a request and see if that resolves the problem.
Logging in as a community has been permanently disabled. All community maintenance that once required logging in as a community can be performed by a maintainer's personal account, as described in the last paragraph here.
