I'm on the list for Bar Sinister...and Godhead is going on in about 40 minutes.
I'm not particularly a Godhead fan, but if I am going at all, I should at least
go for 2 hours.
It's cold as fuck out and 12 mph winds. Which means its too shitty out to walk
(it's about 5 blocks) and I don't want to pay for parking there when I live so close.
I don't even want to walk to my car which is 2 blocks away.
I am supposed to be meeting people (including Shok) there. fuckfuckfuck

Subject:	Thanksgiving & National Treasure
Time:	2:12 am.
Mood:	awake.

So...just got back from National Treasure at the Arclight.
It was good, but not great. I am pretty satisfied with it...
great story but I could have done without all the cheesy dialogue.
Indiana...come back with more brilliant movies!!

Thanksgiving was pretty fun...we went to my boss's huge house
in Studio City. There was tons of food, none of it vegan.
Because I was starving, I had to eat small portions of food with cheese in it...
and yes, I was regretting it later. I tried very hard to avoid dairy,
but it was literally in everything. even the mashed potatoes and green salad.
After that, I drove us to Pasadena to Vincent's house...
I finally met his wife and kid and we watched Bubba Ho-tep.
I was wayyy exhausted by this point, and barely stayed awake through it.
Once it was over, we left, as I needed to get to bed asap.
I slept for 15 hours. I think my body needed that much time to recover.

A few notes from the vanity box:
My face is really broken out right now from my period all week,
and that really sucks. On a better note, my hair is getting long
and looking better all the time. I am kicking myself in the ass
I didn't grow it out sooner. It is 1 1/2 inches from my collarbone.
This is exciting because by the time I get my tax return,
I will have hair clearly past my shoulders! for the first time since age 14.

Subject:	Cat Club show and meeting Ron Jeremy
Time:	3:42 am.
Mood:	sleepy.

Shok played a short set tonite at the Cat Club with vincere and michelemortem.
All went fine except the "drummer" that played the first song with them
was behind the beat the whole time. I don't think he'll be playing with them again.
The highlight of my night was meeting and speaking with Ron Jeremy.
I can now scratch that off my list of people I need to meet.
He was in the first porn I ever saw, and I loved his documentary.
He was very sweet in person. He kissed me several times on the cheek!

Subject:	I wanna be a rock star...

Mood:	sleepy.

Charles Levi, the bassist from Thrill Kill Kult, is in my apartment.
What was interesting was when he came in,
he said he recognized me from seeing my pictures on the Internet!
and Shok didn't show him. He said he found them on some fetish site.
We all went out to Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles for dinner
(I had red beans & rice and a biscuit).
Just a few minutes ago he was on the phone with fucking Slash
from GnR, who was at a Velvet Revolver party. haha!
Anyways, I had Levi autograph one of my TKK CD's.
He addressed it "To Roni" which was funny because nobody calls me that.

I am really tired. I think I'm heading to bed...::yawn::

Mood:	cranky.

I can't believe Shok chose a Tiger Milk protein bar over
the fresh green and yellow italian squash that I sauteed
in olive oil. Why won't men eat their vegetables??
In other news, I have to go back to work tomorrow.
Due to a freak change in scheduling, I managed to get
yesterday and today off. I'm now working, well, straight through
till Thanksgiving. I'll have a 4 day weekend for that.
I slept a lot the past couple of days. Like 12 hrs Sunday,
and 10 hrs last night. Lots of sleep is good, but it makes me feel
kind of lethargic for the rest of the day. I meant to get more done.
Of course, it didn't help that Shok refused to leave the house.
He's been on the phone and computer all day, though now
he is in bed at 8pm. hmmmmmm.
I'm definitely in PMS mode.

Subject:	Shok is home!!
Time:	7:08 am.
Mood:	exhausted.

A complete surprise!
He told me I was getting a delivery when I got home from work,
and so I waited for a delivery, I was expecting flowers or something.
He calls me and tells me to open the door, and I do and there he is,
with loads of luggage. He bought so many things, clothes and stuffed
animals and other things. I had to go to sleep early though,
because I have to be at work by 9am :\
I slept like shit too, the neighbors upstairs were blasting music till 5am.
Finally I heard Shok calling the cops. I hate those neighbors.
Anyways, I need more sleep. It is going to be slammed today at work.

Zoe took me out tonite on a date.
Well, okay, it wasn't really a DATE date, but she did pay. muahahhahahah!
Anyways, we went out to Toi Thai and ate a big meal with tea.
Then we went to Ghoul Skool for a beer.
It was very enjoyable...I am in a pleasant mood.

Subject:	I Voted
Time:	8:08 pm.
Mood:	hopeful.

So my boss kept me an extra hour today of all days.
I booked it back to Hollywood in record time and made it to the polls
20 minutes before close. I waited 10 minutes for my turn, and voted.
I am so glad I made it, and so glad I was prepared with my booklet filled out.
Voting today was important to me, and it was in 2000 as well,
so I am crossing my fingers my vote will count for something this time.

Mood:	tired.

Alright...did everything on my list and got groceries, too.
I also went over all the propositions and measures for CA again,
to make sure that I was sure about everything.
So I have my quick reference book all filled out for tomorrow.
The big question is, when to vote...because I leave for work at 9am,
and won't be back in Hollywood till 7pm. I don't know whether
I should go beforehand and chance being late to work,
or just hope there isn't a huge line around 7pm and one hour is enough time.
I just don't think I'm going to make it in the morning.
I am not a morning person and I have to be at work on time.
Hopefully the elementary school won't be packed at night...

Ahhhhhh.
I feel like myself again.
That hangover yesterday was fucking terrible!
I was laid up all day feeling like shit.
Just sat around watching teevee eating fresh veggies,
eating Excedrin and wanting the ache to go away.

Today:
-pick up package at post office
-go volunteer for a few hours
-pick up dry cleaning
-do a load of laundry at home

Mood:	crappy.

I am hungover and I have a terrible headache!
But aside from feeling like crap, I had a great time out last night,
and I have the entire day off today to sit on my ass.

I just now set all my clocks back. I still think Daylight Savings is stupid.

Dante was being extra affectionate is morning,
almost to the point of being annoying (kept waking me up).
I think he knew I wasn't feeling too well.

Okay, so I decided to go out with Jen and her friends to WeHo...
we'll probably hit some gay/drag bars to begin with...
She knows how to get me to say yes...
"are you staying in? we will probably end up at the strip club,
like we always do..." alright, alright, you twisted my arm, haha ;)
Anyways, should be a fun night.
I'm more in the mood for some drinks than I was before.
I also took a 2 1/2 hour nap after I got home, and that helped a LOT.

p.s. I am wearing my nurse dress and some false eyelashes.
The lashes look hot but are kind-of irritating to my eyes.
It's my first attempt at wearing false lashes, so this is an experiment, really.

Mood:	drained.

So this morning there was an earthquake right after I got to work...
must have been around 9:30am. It shook the blinds and it felt like a jolt.
Earthquakes never bother me, though...probably because I have lived
through many and I am from Los Angeles area. This one was mild.

I have some options on what to do tonite but I don't know if I want to do anything.
I don't feel like drinking today and I am particularly exhausted from getting up early
and working all day, etc. In theory I should go do something though, because
the people at the house next door are throwing a party which will go till 5am
and they play hiphop super loud under my window and I won't be able to sleep whatsoever.
My boss invited me out with his girlfriend and their friends to a party downtown...
there is a show at a houseparty in silverlake as well...or Ariel's party...
or my friend Jen just emailed me about going out....
truth be told I don't feel like dressing up for a third time or drinking this weekend.
I really just want to stay home tonite and watch movies. hmm.
