1. Holy crap… this guy must need a wheelbarrow to carry his cojones around. I’m eagerly waiting for the usual crowd of spittle flecked moral midgets to explain why this corporal is really a cowardly war criminal, crushing peaceful peoples who pose no… oh, wait, he’s Salvadoran. Lucky for him, for an American leftist to criticize him would be racist.

   Well, they can fall back on their default position - this is all Bush’s fault. Let’s see what might fly… uh, Bush’s cynical manipulation (and NAFTA) force poor ignorant third world peasants to serve as mercenaries for Halliburton? Yeah, that’s it.

   You screen Indymedia and let us know if I’m right. I haven’t the tolerance for it right now.

3. C’mon, Andrea, a big reason I read blogs is for you folks to read Indymedia so I don’t have to. I’d take a bulet for you, why couldn’t you wade through toxic sludge for me?

4. A big reason I write blogs is so I won’t have time to surf around cesspools like Indymedia, ruining my health by making my blood pressure go through the ceiling. Come on now – if I had a rage-induced stroke I wouldn’t be able to update my page, much less tend all the other blogs I run.

5. When I read about that guy I thought of Joshua Chamberlain and the 20th Maine. Out of ammo? Charge with cold steel! Steve is right, this guy has the cojones of an elephant. To bad he can’t sow a few wild oats in Spain.
