Al Qaeda Confirms Solidarity with Moveon.org, ACLU and Ron Paul

Like an enormous black hole the nuttiness of the fringes all seem to be on opposite ends of the event horizon, until suddenly you realize that they converge in a quantum singularity of disconnectedness so from reality that some theoretical physicists posit an alternate universe of craziness:

Al Qaeda’s Yemeni wing charged the U.S. violated its own Constitution and laws in the targeted killing of Anwar al-Awlaki, according to a statement on Monday confirming the American-born cleric is dead.

Like presidential candidate Ron Paul and others who have condemned the killing as an unconstitutional, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula used a legal argument to attack the drone assassination of the cleric and another American citizen, Samir Khan, who produced the Al Qaeda web magazine Inspire...

AQAP joined other critics — including presidential candidates Paul and Gary Johnson and organizations such the ACLU — in accusing the U.S. of acting unconstitutionally by assassinating a U.S. citizen without due process.

More evidence of the bizarro convergence of al Qaeda supporters and Ron Paulians: Linda G. Richards, noted online al Qaeda supporter, also claims that Samir Khan was innocent and that Ron Paul is awesome.

#OccupyBoston Hosts Supporters of Accused Terrorist Supporter and Online Jihadi Tarek Mehanna

Because, you know, shooting shoppers at malls and murdering President Bush is just the kind of dream that well balanced young people aspire to these days.

Boston Herald:

The downtown protest group Occupy Boston threw its proverbial doors open yesterday, and played host to supporters of accused terrorist Terak Mehanna, who are looking to raise awareness of the Sudbury man’s upcoming trial.

The Tarek Mehanna Support Committee came to Occupy Boston’s ever-evolving tent city on the Rose Kennedy Greenway to say Mehanna, a Muslim American pharmacist, is a victim of anti-Muslim sentiment.

The U.S. government says Mehanna, 28, provided “material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization,” and acted as a “media wing” for al-Qaeda.

Terak Mehanna assisted in disseminating al-Qaeda's online propaganda, ran a terror supporting blog and dreamed of mowing down shoppers in malls with a machine gun.

So now prosecuting terrorists is actually anti-Muslim? If that's the case then Muslims must be pro-terrorism?

Just asking questions people, just asking questions.

More background on Mehanna's hobby of dreaming about the death of America and American's....

More "Occupy" Douchebaggery

This time in Chicago.

Oh, sure, that's just what the flag represents, you freak. And War Is Bad For Children And Other Living Things too.

Stupid hippies, this isn't 1968 when the news was the solely owned property of the New York Times and everyone else just parroted them. You're a parody of yourselves.

Smelly losers.

#OccupyWallStreet a bunch of losers on a traffic island

Just got a call of someone who went at lunch for a look-see:

- its a tiny patch of land that is formed by a traffic triangle, not really a park
- 1/3 of protesters are people in their 70's normally dressed but carrying bizarre signs (old hippies)
- 1/3 are college age sitting on garbage bags who look very, very stoned and take turns leading the group chants
- one older man sitting at a table with three battered hardhats left there in support
- 20% at least were pedestrian gawkers just walking through and pointing
- most of the black people were in one corner gathered around Al Sharpton
- Susan Surandon
- the homeless who had been living there before are all pushed into one corner
- some of the elderly were standing on boxes around the perimeter facing out and reading the constitution

All in all, a media sham by the libtards. There's more people at a bingo game.

Update NYP: “People say they are here for the cause, but the real reason is the free food,” quipped Cameron, 26, of Jersey City. “On my third day, they had smoked salmon with cream cheese. You know how much smoked salmon is a pound? Sixteen dollars. I eat better here than I do with my parents!”

Abu Sayyaf Attacks Christian Festival

Lets dispense with pretension that Muslims have anything against cock fighting or boxing and get down to the real reason they bombed the festival. Its because Catholic Christians were gathered together to celebrate the Patron Saint of Manila St. Francis the Tearful. Whom Today can't even bring itself to name lest it offend.

Hard to pass up that many infidels all in one place.

Today: Al Qaeda-linked Abu Sayyaf militants are among the key suspects in two bombings that wounded 11 people in a cockfighting arena and a budget hotel in a southern Philippine city, where security has been tightened for an annual Roman Catholic festival, officials said today.
Its quite a statement on the Religion of Peace that whenever Christians gather, for whatever reason, security must be tightened if there is a large Muslim population nearby.

What's up with that?

Saudi Arabia to Try 85 al-Qaeda Members

They are just now getting around to trying those responsible for murdering foreign workers in Riyadh on 2003. Justice is swift in Islam, unless the dead are infidels.

Ahram Online:

Saudi Arabia has started to try 85 alleged members of an Al-Qaeda-linked cell which attacked three housing compounds for foreigners in the capital Riyadh in 2003, local newspapers reported on Monday.

The attacks, which took place on a single night, killed 20 people according to Saudi Arabia's official news agency, and marked the start of a violent al Qaeda campaign that included plots against military bases, foreigners and industrial and energy facilities between 2003 to 2006.

A spokesman from the Justice Ministry did not respond to calls or messages for comment about the trial.

Saudi Arabia, the world's number one oil exporter, eventually ended the Al-Qaeda campaign after arresting thousands of people suspected of aiding militants, and enlisting senior Saudi clerics to denounce Osama bin Laden's network as un-Islamic.

Those on trial are said to belong to the Dandani cell, named after Turki al-Dandani who was killed in a shoot-out with security forces in 2003, and are accused of killing and wounding 239 people in attacks on the compounds and other targets.

Background here.

So do we infidels get to attend the beheadings?

AQAP confirms Anwar al Awalki still dead

That is all.

(Its the first confirmation by the al Qaeda terrorist group of their operative's death since the drone strike. All the e-haddis that had been holding out hope must be crying in their tea today. They also confirm Sami is dead and by omission, that bomb-maker Ibrahim al Asiri is not, which we all knew last week.)

Ah, maybe a little more hammer:

#OccupyWallStreet Promotes Corporations To Disparage Corporations

These marxist loons want you to visit corporations to expose corporations because some corporations are proud to show how corporations are evil and people should execute corporations that other corporations expose as greedy corporations.

State violence against Copts in Maspiro Egypt: Video

Military tanks run down protesters and troops beat citizens with clubs:

The transition government has tortured protesters, arrested bloggers and re-instituted the emergency laws; it is encouraging sectarianism in the state media against Copts, who were protesting a church burning and the arrest of a blogger when attacked. An incomplete regime change, leaving the military in charge, resulted in a rebirth of brutality and tyranny.

Photos of the protest before it was attacked are here. At least 30 were killed and then the military attacked the hospital.

This would be hilarious if not for the fact these mindless freaks vote. There really should be a basic civics test that you have to pass in order to vote. We require a competency test to drive a car, but we allow just any citizen (and in some cases, illegals) to elect the people who will run our country.

In a way, this is really scary.

Wisconsin: Muslim Attacks Man For "Criticizing" Islam

Right here in America.

The victim claims he never criticized Islam, but when has that ever stopped an Islamist from falsely accusing someone and then extracting his own brand of Sharia justice?

Velvethammer at Ironic Surrealism writes:

The victim denies that he criticized Islam, but that is neither here nor there. He as an American has the right to do so if he so chooses. The islam rage boy on the other hand does NOT have the right to beat anyone with a tire iron even if they criticized the religion of pieces. Send him packing to what ever Islamic hell hole he or his ancestors (what ever the case may be) slithered out from.

Will the attacker be charged with a hate crime? Probably not. You see, he's really the victim here. Islamophobia and all that....

Excellent helmet cam footage posted at Pat Dollard:

Bless all these brave men. Their courage just fills me with awe and respect.

But as intense as that footage was, my heart still belongs to the Apache. War p0rn just isn't as fun for me unless I get to see some insurgent bodies flying about. This is one of the best compilations I've seen:

#OccupyWallStreet Protester Craps On Police Car

Such lovely people. Sure, let's take them seriously.

protester craps on car.jpg

The left is proudly claiming these people as their counter to the Tea Party. The Tea Party is decent, patriotic, intelligent, respectful and law-abiding. So, I suppose #OccupyWallStreet is the perfect opposition.

Nancy Pelosi praised them: “God bless them for their spontaneity. It’s independent … it’s young, it’s spontaneous, and it’s focused. And it’s going to be effective.”

In other words, shit happens.

Good News: Abu Izzadeen Freed from Prison Early

The streets of London just got a bit less savory:

Abu Izzadeen, a radical Muslim preacher who was jailed after footage was uncovered of him calling for the beheading of any Muslim in the British army, has been freed early from jail.

Izzadeen, 34, whose real name is Trevor Brooks, led a group of Islamic radicals who stormed the moderate Regents Park Mosque in central London and then forced back police who tried to evict them...

A second generation Jamaican, Izzadeen, walked out of jail on Saturday because of the amount of time he has already spent in prison. He had one year cut off his sentence by the Court of Appeal, reducing it from four-and-a-half to three-and-a-half years.

A number of his fellow activists could also immediately walk free.

And I was having such a nice day at the zoo!

WTF? State Apologizes to Dead Terrorist's Family (Updated)

I'm not sure if I should be laughing at this or getting really, really pissed off.

On the one hand, we pay the State Department to lie. And, if saying you're sorry for killing a terrorist isn't a lie, then I don't know what is!

On the other hand, what if Obama and Clinton's State Department really were sorry they killed the al Qaeda propagandist and self-styled proud traitor?

If that's the America we live in, then it's time to pack it in and call it quits. I hear France is nice this time of year, and at least they are right up front about their disdain for America.

Charlotte Observer:

"They were very apologetic (for not calling the family sooner) and offered condolences," Jibril Hough said about the Thursday call from the State Department to Khan's father, Zafar....

Hough said the Thursday conversation lasted a few minutes. "It wasn't just 'I'm sorry' and hang-up," said Hough, who added that the phone call included no discussion of the status or condition of Khan's remains.

So, we kill a terrorist and then we .... apologize to the family for killing the terrorist? What's next, paying the parents of suicide bombers, like Hamas and Fatah?

Please tell me this is part of some larger duplicity which leads to the entire Kahn family being deported and/or indicted?

I've always had a rather low opinion of State. But after this, I'm left to wonder which side of the War on Terror they're really pulling for?

UPDATE: Thanks to AllahP over at Hot Air for the hat tip.

Let me just respond to one thing AllahP says:

They’re being careful to draw a distinction between people like Awlaki, whom the White House suspected of operational planning, and Khan, who appears to have been exclusively a propagandist...

If they’re targeting people only for their rhetoric, no matter how toxic that might be, it puts them on even thinner ice with civil libertarians given the very high bar for dangerous speech under the First Amendment

The argument he is making, I think, isn't that Khan didn't deserve to die -- he did -- but that the Obama administration is pandering to the base which has taken to calling the killings of Awlaki and Kahn "the assassination of American citizens by the President."

What I want to point out to readers who may not know the background on Khan is that what he published was not just fiery rhetoric in support of al Qaeda. No, he published actual bomb making instructions. Khan's bomb making instructions were followed by Naser Abdo, who was arrested before he could detonate the bomb near Fort Hood.

So, even under our rather broadly protective post-Brandenburg 1st Amendment jurisprudence what Khan was advocating would not be protected since his publications did actually incite people to violence -- which was exactly his point.

For crissake, this was a guy who advocated killing American civilians in malls and nightclubs!

If this is the base that Obama's State Department is pandering to -- one that cannot distinguish a traitor from ordinary citizens -- then God help us.
