Hello all!

I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and Santa was good to you.  I was spoiled, as usual, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable day.  It was so nice to have all my family under the one roof, something that doesn't happen as often as we'd all like.

I'm off out with my friend for lunch in a wee while then a little sortie into town.  I got money from Mr C to go to my fav jewellery shop and, yippee, they've now got their sale on so I'll get more for my money!  I've also got shoes to pick up from M&S that I've hankered after for a while and were in their sale online on Christmas day, £20 off, so of course they slipped into my basket!  Unfortunately I haven't had time to look at the craft sales but tonight may be the night as Mr C is working and there's nothing worth watching on TV.

Hi folks!

Christmas is creeping up fast, only 3 more sleeps.  I hope you are organised and not stressing too much.  I've only got some veg to get and I'm organised.  The turkey and gammon is cooked, sliced and in the freezer as is the gravy, pigs in blankets and stuffing.  My daughter is bringing soup and my daughter-in-law is bringing dessert ... sorted!

The lurgy is slowly disappearing, thank goodness, I'm really getting fed up of it now!  I do hope that any of you who are feeling poorly get well soon.  There are so many viruses going around just now and it's little wonder mind you, the weather is so awful.

Hi! I'm in the naughty corner again, forgetting to schedule this post.  I have to admit I haven't been upstairs these past few days, and that's where the laptop lives.  Just when I thought I was getting over the lurgy, wham, bam, it was back again.  I did take myself off to the doc but it's a virus and will take 2/3 weeks to clear ... deep joy.  However, I have to say that I'm beginning to feel a bit better again.

Anyway, here is my effort for our latest challenge at Suzy Bee's.  Thank goodness I was organised and had this card made a while ago.

It's a miserable day here, hissing rain and very windy.  Take care if you're out and about.

Hi everyone!

It's a real blustery morning but doesn't seem to be cold, in fact it's almost tropical after the temperatures we've had recently.  Unfortunately it's raining which is a pity.  I was hoping to poke my nose out of the door today and get some fresh air, the first since last Tuesday.  I'll see how I feel as the day progresses.  If only I could shift this cough and feeling of lethargy, doubt my body is telling me something!  I've caught up with quite a few things I'd recorded so every cloud ...

This challenge was exactly that, a challenge, as I found it quite difficult to do black and white for Christmas.  I think it's worked though, fingers crossed!

Hello!

I started off the week with great intentions of posting each day but the lurgy caught up with me and I ended up in bed on Tuesday and Wednesday and it's been on and off the sofa since then.  I do feel better but I'm exhausted, the spirit is willing but the body weak!

Anyway, before I get the sack, here is my card for today's challenge over at Suzy Bee's.  I've upcycled the button on this card.

Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to go the fair tomorrow which I'm very disappointed about but I'm not pushing myself too hard, especially at this time of the year.  I'll just need to content myself and there'll always be another one.

Christmas Cards DT - No Stamping

Hello my friends!

What a lovely morning and I've been lying in bed.  Not feeling 100% today, my voice is all croaky and my body feels a bit wibbly wobbly but I'll soldier on!

I'd a lovely lunch yesterday with my friends with lots of chatting and catching up.  We exchanged our Christmas gifts too so I've some parcels to put under the tree when I eventually get around to putting it up ... way too early for that yet.  I will put my Christmas candle bridge on the windowsill today though.  It's a tradition in our family that it goes on the first day of December.

The craft room in particular, and the house in general, is in need of some TLC so that's what I'm off to do now.  Mr C was working midnight till 6am so I'm trying to keep quiet to let him sleep otherwise he'll be Mr Grumpy!

Morning!
Ooops, forgot to schedule this post but at least I'm still on the correct day!

It's a pretty grey day but I'm off to meet 3 friends for our Christmas lunch and parcel swap.  It doesn't feel like Christmas as yet and it certainly doesn't seem like a year since the big man in the red suit last visited.  

I was in Stirling yesterday with my Aunt and it was busy. I'll need to take her somewhere quieter for the next few weeks as she has a walking aid and it's not easy when there's lots of folk buzzing about with parcels and little patience.

My first Christmas fair went quite well.  It was a very small affair for school funds but it got me into the swing of things for next Sunday for the much larger one in a hotel in the centre of town.

Hello one and all!

I can't believe that it's 10 days since I came home from my house-sitting in Spain and I haven't had time to blog.  There just seems to have been so much to catch up on.  Anyway a wonderful time was had and the weather was just awesome.  I didn't expect it to be so HOT!  Mind you, since I've been home there has been snow in Guadalest which is an hour away from where I was staying so it was a quick change there too.  I'm so glad it waited till I was back in Scotland ... cold here too mind you but we've not had snow yet in my little corner of the world.

Today is going to be a sorting out day.  I've a craft fair at a local school on Thursday evening and I really must try to get myself organised.  I've knitting, jewellery and cards to sort so I'd better just get my working hat on and knuckle down.

Mr Mojo has been bit reluctant to come out of holiday mode but I managed to get this card done for the Christmas Card challenge.

Morning all!

What a horrendous day it was yesterday and doesn't look much better today. I'm being an awful blogger just now as I've so much to do before I'm off on my travels on Wednesday for three weeks. Can't wait! 

I didn't get as much done last night as I meant to as I bought myself a Hudl yesterday and spent most of the evening loading all my apps etc onto it so I can take it with me. I'll need to work like a wee Trojan today as I'm out with my granddaughter tomorrow and hospital on Tuesday to get my tear duct flushed out to hopefully sort my eye.  All go in the Campbell household.

Morning everyone!

I say this every Sunday, but where do the weeks go?  Only 10 sleeps till I'm off to sunny Spain to housesit for friends for 3 weeks.  At the moment it's still in the high 20s so lets hope it stays that way.

I had a really busy day yesterday cos all my friends were busy and Mr C was working so I thought I'd do something that's been on my 'to do' list for a while.  I hauled out all the bedroom furniture and got rid of all the dust that had accumulated underneath and behind.  I also found 20p and 2 earrings!!!  I have to say I feel quite pleased with myself.  I got the ironing up to date too ... domestic goddess or what!

I don't know what we're going to be up to today, time will tell.

Morning all!

I think I've lost a few days this week, it seems no time since last Sunday!  I've had a busy week and added another craft event to my November calendar so I really must get Mr Mojo working overtime and get creative!

I delved into the Christmas present box the other day and got them all sorted out to see what I've still to buy, not many to go!  I've got wrapping paper so one of these days I'm going to get them all wrapped and tagged.  Cards have already been written so I think I'm fairly organised as it's only 17 sleeps till I'm off to Spain to house sit for friends and it's mid November by the time I get back and I just HATE the shops when it gets manic.

Best get some crafting done instead of sitting here chatting!

Christmas on Sunday

Hi!

Me again.  I've only one card for my self imposed Christmas makes on a Sunday.  I've got a few kits that I'm using to make other cards so I've only time to fit in a few challenges this week.

Mr C is outside cutting the grass which he hopes will be the last time this year.  Our GSD is looking out of the window wishing she was there with him but dogs and electric lawnmowers are not a very good mix.  Here is a picture of her in her morning pose waiting for the poor postie.  She goes absolutely loopy when he pops things through the letter box but will happily walk past him in the street!

Anyway, off now to get some more kit cards made up.  It's so easy not having to enlist the help of Mr Mojo, especially when he's sloped off and not told me where!

I completely forgot to schedule this post but, hey, I'm here now!

What a miserable start we had to yesterday, really foggy and damp.  By the time it was lunchtime the sun was shining and boy, was it warm!  I was melted in my jeans, jumper and scarf when I popped into town then the dreaded food shopping!  It's Sunday so I'm having a lazy one, sitting a my craft desk hopefully getting Mr Mojo to work!  Before I get started the washing machine is doing its giddy whirl and as the forecast is good I'll get the clothes hung outside.

Morning folks!

A rotten day with strong winds and heavy rain so I'm going to have a day in the craft room.  Mr C is working until 5pm so I've the whole day to please myself ... where will I start!

My daughter, granddaughter and I had a girly afternoon yesterday and we all enjoyed ourselves.  Firstly we had lunch at The Picture House in Errol then a trip to Dundee for a browse round the shops.  The pair of them are having a lazy day today, in fact, it may well be a pj day for them!

I managed to get the washing dried outside yesterday.  There was a good wind and it was reasonably warm.  Oh dear, I fear we are all going to be in for a big shock one of these days when Autumn/Winter strikes with a vengeance.  When that happens we'll all just have to keep cosy in our craftrooms!
