In My Mailbox: 44

In My Mailbox is created and hosted by The Story Siren.

Wither (The Chemical Garden, #1)
I started reading this on my Nook from NetGalley but I couldn't finish it before the time was up. (I was busy with school) so I'm excited to finish it. What I read was really good, and I don't know why it took me so long to pick this up.)

Illusions
I loved the first two books in this series. I'm think I'm now Team Tamani  but I'm not 100 percent sure.  Maybe I'll be able to make my mind after this book.

Divergent (Divergent, #1)
This one I only picked up because so many people told me too. It also got some great reviews from some of my favorite bloggers so I thought I should give it a try. Honestly I haven't even read the summary yet.

*I picked all these books up at my library.

What did you get this week?

In My Mailbox (42)

In My Mailbox is created and hosted by The Story Siren. (But I would be scared if you didn't know this already)

I haven't made a video in a REALLY long time. So I decided it was time to finally make another video (non-vlog) IMM. To my newer followers, I made these videos when I was to scared to do a vlog. I have a lot of fun creating them and sometimes its even quicker then a vlog can be.

Books: (In case you don't feel like watching the video)

Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini
The Iron Witch by Karen Magoney
The Daughters by Joanna Philbin
What Happen To Goodbye by Sarah Dessen  <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
Siren by Tricia Rayburn

^I bought most of these at my local bookstore that is closing. Now there is only one Barnes and Nobles near my house...well 30 minutes away...

Did you get anything good this week?

Then for 1.99 I got...

Which also looks really good and it was only 2 dollars!

In My Mailbox (17)

Hey everyone! I know I didn't post to much this week, and I'm sorry about that. I just started school again (Sophomore yay!) So I was stressed out all week, hopefully I'll get into a good school, homework, band, and reading schedule sometime soon.

This week I decided to make a video (not a vlog). I didn't get to much but it was enough to make a video. I miss making these, hopefully I can get a good video editing system soon so they can be more fun.

I love this song, I actually have been playing it over and over again while I'm at the computer. You can find the music video for it here.

Bought:
How I Found the Perfect Dress (This one sounds really interesting)
The Debs
The Insiders
Paper Towns (This is the first book by John Green that I'm going to read)
Library:
Hearts at Stake

They just put a discount book store at the outlets really close to my house! I'm really excited because this is the first book store in my town! They don't sell any of the new releases though, so I'll still have to drive 30 minutes to BN or Borders.

Plans for this week:
1) Write and post a Journey to the Past
2) Write and post review of You Wish
3)  Finish reading Clockwork Angel (and then write a review)
4) Read Songs for A Teenage Nomade (& review)
5) Start Wondrous Strange

In My Mailbox (12)

So I only got a few books from the library this week.

Hush, Hush which I've already read but I wanted to reread it.

I LOVE this cover!

Raised by Wolves. I'm really looking forward to reading this one, it looks amazing!

I also borrowed Before I Fall from my cousin. She said it was really good, and I've heard nothing but great things about it. So I can't wait to read it.

That's all I got this week! What did you get?

In My Mailbox(10)

WOW 10 weeks! Has it really been this long? *well actually it's been 11 or 12 week since I didn't do an IMM once or twice*

Anyway, here's my IMM video for this week. Youtube took the music off of it, (there evil). **Edit** - The last video wasn't working so I'm republishing it without music. If you want to listen to it with the music just play the video under this one. Sorry. Next week I'm doing a vlog because I'm just so frustrated with Youtube right now.

Right now I'm obsessed with this song, I love Sara and I can't wait for her new CD. If you want to listen to the whole thing I'm going to put the music video below.

Oh and I'm sorry I've been a little MIA for the last couple days. I've been really busy, and hopefully I'll be able to post a bunch this week. I actually got a lot planned out, (maybe my 100 follower contest?)

In My Mailbox (8)

So here's what i got in my mailbox this week. I also won a few contests but I'm going to wait till they get here to add them to my IMM.

Winter Longing
You Wish
The Ghost and The Goth

Zombiekins (This a middle grade book, my sister is reading it now and says she wants to write the review. So we'll see how that goes. I think it would be nice to get the actual perspective of the age group for the book. What do you think?)

Forgive my Fins
Cinderella Society
Captivate
The Secret Year
Only the Good Spy Young

Do you guys like these videos or should I just post pictures or do a vlog? You tell me! (but I'm not sure if I could do a vlog...it's a little scary)

In My Mailbox (2)

These are all in E-Book form so I couldn’t take any pictures, but here are all the books I received and bought this week.
The First one is The Oracle of Dating by Allison van Diepen
Summary:
For five bucks, the Oracle of Dating will tell you:

* How to flirt

* If that cute guy you're crushing on likes you, too

* Whether your new romance will last through lunch period

* And much more

What she won't tell you? Who she is.

No one at Kayla's school knows she's the famous Oracle of Dating— the anonymous queen of dating advice. She doesn't even have a boyfriend. Two relationship disasters were enough to make Kayla focus on everyone else's love life.

But then her advice backfires on her own best friend. And Kayla starts to seriously obsess about Jared Stewart—the very cute, very mysterious new guy in school. Suddenly, the teen queen of advice needs her own oracle of dating—and she knows just where to find one….

*I’m actually halfway through this book and so far its pretty good, my review will be up soon.

The Iron Daughter by Julie Kagawa

Summary:
Half Summer faery princess, half human, Meghan has never fit in anywhere. Deserted by the Winter prince she thought loved her, she is prisoner to the Winter faery queen. As war looms between Summer and Winter, Meghan knows that the real danger comes from the Iron Fey, iron-bound faeries that only she and her absent prince have seen. But no one believes her. Worse, Meghan's own fey powers have been cut off. She's alone in Faery with only her wits for help. Trusting anyone would be foolish. Trusting a seeming traitor could be deadly. But even as she grows a backbone of iron, Meghan can't help but hear the whispers of longing in her all-too-human heart.

*So I have not read the first book in this series yet (The Iron King) but I’ve heard so much about it and I’m excited to read this series. I’m going to go get Iron King so I can read and write a review on that one first. Then I’ll read The Iron Daughter, so I acctually know whats going on in the book.
I also received Manifest by Artist Arthur
Summary:

Krystal Bentley is an outsider at her new high school, having just moved to a small Connecticut town. Lately she's been hearing the voice of a teenage boy in her head, and he has become her friend and confidant. The only problem is, he's dead...
Ricky Watson was killed a year ago in the alley behind Krystal's new school. The rumor mill is filled with stories of Ricky and his untimely death. Unfortunately, as a ghost, Ricky is unable to investigate his own murder, so Ricky needs Krystal to find the truth and she needs someone to listen. When Krystal befriends Sasha and Jake, both outcasts at her high school, the threesome soon discover that they have more in common than their outsider status. Each has a unique paranormal ability and an unusual birthmark in the shape of an "M." Jake announces that the M must stand for misfits, and so the three form an unusual clique. They soon realize that solving Ricky's murder can help them understand the mystery behind their powers and may reveal whether there are others like them.

*This book also looks very good, and I’m excited to read it.

Also this week I bought The Kiss of Death by Rachel Caine

Summary:

A new chapter in the New York Times bestselling Morganville Vampires saga. Vampire musician Michael Glass has attracted the attention of a big- time producer who wants to cut a demo and play some gigs-which means Michael will have to enter the human world. For this, he's been assigned escorts that include both a dangerous immortal as well as Michael's all-too-human friends. And with that mix of personalities, this is going to be a road trip from hell...

*I love this series and I’ve already finished this book, my review will be up this week.
