A freestyle cardigan made of tweed yarn, inspired by a pattern from long ago.

mini rock star

mini rock star - wooly waistcoat mini rock star mini rock star - wooly waistcoat mini rock star

On the first of May our mini niece was born.

My niece Afra from London gave birth to a beautiful daughter!

To welcome our youngest family member, we sent her a tiny ROCK STAR t-shirt!

Fits flawlessly with the cool mini ombre cardigan I made for her a while ago...

Do you 'sigh for' a super cute and handmade maternity gift for a baby (on the way)?
You can download the pattern in my ETSY SHOP.

As you can see on the last photo, it's also possible to wear the cardigan inside out, like a fur-lined mini jacket.

oh ombre

ombre baby waistcoat ombre baby waistcoat ombre baby waistcoat

Oh ombre!

Finished the ombre baby waistcoat I started yesterday.

It really is a piece of cake and made within a few hours.

For this mini crochet project I've selected 4 colors from the wool stock; tweed yarn from natural to gray to black.

Cool color palette for a tough baby and the expectant mother (my niece from London) liked the sneak preview I send her ;-)

Yesterday I posted the dusty pink baby waistcoat and was in the mood to make another one. The color inspiration came naturally, standing in front of my wool cabinet. I love how the darker hues fade.

Do you fancy to make wooly waistcoat for an anno 2019 baby? You can download the pattern in my ETSY SHOP.

I will certainly make a few more for '2019 babies' in our friends & familie circle.

two loopy hours - d i y project

woodwoolstool baby waistcoat

An utterly cute wood & wooly waistcoat for the little ones!
Yesterday I've made this dusty pink version in just two 'loopy' hours.

I've designed a wood & wooly baby waistcoat and have written down the pattern some years ago.
It's made in 'for-the-little-ones' size and will fit lot's of babies and toddlers, because it's a sleeveless cardigan.
One size fits all, isn't a term you often use for babies, but I guess it's true in this case.
It's cute and at the same time cool!
A perfect D.I.Y. project and all you need is about 100 grams of wool and a crochet needle size 6. Within just a few hours you can make a super cute gift!

You can download the p a t t e r n in my ETSY SHOP.
The pattern is available in English and Dutch.

wood & wooly baby waistcoat pattern

wood & wooly baby waistcoat

It was inevitable!

After a wood & wooly cardigan for women, I figured a wood & wooly waistcoat for the little ones would be utterly cute!

So I've designed a wood & wooly baby waistcoat and have written down the pattern.

It's made in 'for-the-little-ones' size and will fit lot's of babies and toddlers, because it's a sleeveless cardigan.
One size fits all, isn't a term you often use for babies, but I guess it's true in this case.

All you need is about 100 grams of wool and a crochet needle size 6 and within a couple of hours you can make a super cute waistcoat!

You can purchase this pattern now in my ETSY SHOP.
