café au ginkgo
Saturday 16th of November
Somewhere around this November day the ginkgo tree is at its most spectacular! An annual autumn delight!
Every year, over and over again I am cheered by the golden glow in the front garden, but also in the house.
Many outside coffee moments on the terrace at the 'café au ginkgo' this season.

karpathos - kira panagia
Karpathos - 19th of September
Karpathos the windy island, that's right, today wind force five.
The beach of Kyra Panagia is situated between steep cliffs, which is really breathtaking. And the gorgeous little church with red dome of the same name, watches over the village and the beach on the cliffs.
Lunch at beach restaurant Kavos and the rest of the afternoon we enjoyed the greek island life to the fullest, the sea, the beach and wind in the hair. Most likely the last beach day of the year. Bye bye beach.
Karpathos - 20th of September
Before leaving the island, one more sunrise and one more frappé...

karpathos - arkasa & potali bay
Karpathos - 17th of September
Daytrip to the west coast.
In the morning we went exploring the small village of Arkasa, lots of blue & white and many other shades on the colorful facades in this village.
Our plan for noon was to drive north into the mountains to Potali Bay, a very quiet bay in beautiful natural surroundings and turquoise sea water.
Another day, another bay, we enjoy the daytrips on Karpathos and alternate between the east and west coast and we manage to find a beautiful bay every day!
