On day FIVE we acted like New York citizens in the weekend. We visited the great organic Greenmarket on the Union Square and afterwards we had an American breakfast with pancakes and omelet at the iconic Coffee Shop around the corner.

In the afternoon we went to the Chelsea flea market and had a Mexican lunch at Tacombi in the Empire State Building. At the end of the afternoon we picked up our suitcases at the hotel and took the yellow cab to JFK airport. Those five days in New York were unforgettable and we have not seen everything, so we will definitely go back!

Falling in love with NYC is easy...

vrijdag

vrijdag vrijdag vrijdag

Facade with "lace" of concrete at Drukkerij Vrijdag in Eindhoven, by architect J. Gubbels in 1965.

I adore walls like these, it reminds me of the concrete patio walls from the seventies.

In case you agree with me, have a look at the lace-like facade of this building in Australia.

Enjoy your Friday!
