rotterdam - de hofbogen
Sunday 25th of February - Rotterdam
Sunday citywalk along de Hofbogen in Rotterdam Noord.
Lots of colorful street art and small entrepreneurs and a good coffee at Man met bril koffie.
We had lunch in Station Bergweg at Chez Jan and both enjoyed a classic hot dog, with pickles and sauerkraut. Haven't eaten in forever, it was delicious!
Wonderful news! A special city park will be built on top of the Hofbogen railway viaduct.
Construction of the park will start in 2025 and the black roof will be changed into a green carpet at the end of 2027. With a length of two kilometers, the Hofbogenpark will be the longest roof park in the Netherlands.

the tail end of january
January 2024
Wednesday 24th of January - Rotterdam, vintage shopping at Episode, lunch at Jules and inspiration at De Galerie Rotterdam.
Saturday 27th of January - Pruning the beech hedge in the frontyard, followed by a first Risotto outdoor lunch of the year.
Sunday 28th of January - Minne's birthday, winterwalk in our picturesque hometown Dordrecht.
Tuesday 30th of January - IFFR - Cinerama - Adagio - Rome today: the Eternal City is surrounded by wildfires. In the centre, ravaged by corruption and violence, three old gangsters unite their last energies to save a boy that has failed the wrong person.
... and in between two delightful Tuesdays with sweetie Liam!
Okay the first month is over, I can't wait for spring.
