The Boy and the Busker


"Who wants me to go higher?"  A very enthusiastic lad certainly did.  The best way to entertain kids in the holidays is to just hang about the streets where ever the buskers are.

The history of street performers in Covent Garden goes back to the 1600's. It is now one of the most prized spots in the world to perform. To get a spot on this patch you must pass an audition, pay a heft licence fee and be good at pulling the crowds in. Your time slot is generally only 40 minutes.

Limbo

You always think I can do that, the reality is a million miles away. Well it certainly is for me anyway. Especially when he dropped that pole even lower.
No I didn't publicly humiliate myself by trying. I left that to a tourist egged on by his friends.
