Review on writ of certiorari is not a matter of right, but of judicial discretion, and will be granted only for compelling reasons. The time for filing a petition for writ of certiorari runs from the entry of judgment, not from issuance of the mandate. If a timely petition for rehearing or rehearing en banc was filed, the time for filing a petition for certiorari does not begin to run until denial of the petition for rehearing or rehearing en banc. Additional information on filing a petition for writ of certiorari is available at www.supremecourt.gov or from the Supreme Court Clerk’s Office at 1 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20543.
