Easy Stenciled Backgrounds + Very Cute Pilgrims + TinyTownie

Cute, cute Pilgrim Kids!  Love this image - it seems to be a companion to THIS ONE from last year.  You can download it below for your Thanksgiving creations.

It's got so much going on that a simple background works really well.

One color plaid background created with a stencil and stencil brush.

Talking about cute!  I love this Tiny Townie image, too.

Here's a list of the copics I used to color her.  Very fun!

The stencil background for her is a little more busy and colorful.  The leaves are actually a stamp mixed in with the stenciled circles.  You can see a video I did with a similar background HERE.

Dropbox seems to work differently for different people.  Either right click and save when image appears or click the download button in the top right corner.  If neither method works, email me and I'll send the files to you.

Here's a sneak peek of Louisa's first birthday party and a couple of the things I made.  I made the party hats and the tutu on the bear.  We had the teddy bear in her room and she reached for it every morning and when she woke up from her naps.  I'll share more later...

So glad you stopped by!  Happy Creating!

Up Up and Away

We are having wonderful weather!  It would be a wonderful time to go up, up and away in a hot air balloon.   Have you ever flown in one?  I never have.  I would, but I have to confess I would be a little scared!

Isn't this hot air balloon and little bear adorable?  Couldn't wait to start coloring when my package arrived from Waffleflower.

I made another fold over card.  This one is held closed with the clothespin.

What's inside?  Another adorable bear (and bird)!

You may remember that this die from Pretty Pink Posh is my favorite for making clouds.  I start my blending tool on top of the cut out and push the color onto my card.   I made the clouds with the fold over closed and then opened it and lined up my die cut to match.

Did these cuties make you smile?  I can't remember where I picked up the old card.  It is a kids birthday card and it is in terrible shape.  Luckily, I was able to clean it up enough so that it's printable.  You can download the hot air balloon image below.

The actual basket is white, so I colored it with copics, adding a couple of little birds from the Waffleflower stamp set.  You know I love plaid and so I created another plaid card with my stencil brush.  I used the top two colors in the Color Box palette.

Here's a quick look at the inside.

Hope you're having fabulous up, up and away weather!  So glad you stopped by!

You're the Best! O-Fish-ally.

Best Fishes.  O-Fish-ally.   Yeah, a little corny, but oh, so cute!  Look at his adorable little face.  And what about that pretty plaid and cute little fish?  Used my Clarity stencil brushes again.

You caught me (did you "catch" that fishing pun?) - this is another Outside In card.  That's where things usually found on the outside of a card are instead on the inside.  This one has the image and some twine on the inside.  I'm having so much fun with these.

I"m also having fun with the stencil brushes.  Seriously, LOVE the plaid.  It's so soft and pretty.   First applied the lighter blue ink and then came back in with the stencil angled the opposite with the darker ink.

If you want to see a video (and more Outside In cards) using the Clarity Stencil Brushes, check out THIS POST.

The cutie pie fishing boy is available for download and the sentiments are there, too.

So, catch the image for yourself and create a little something.  Best Fishes to all of you.  YOU are the best!  O-FISH-ALLY.
