Good Morning My Creative Friends! Welcome to another throwback Thursday challenge!
Here are the details for this challenge:
***Use ANY "OLDER" cartridge of YOUR choice & PLEASE incorporate the color GREEN & YELLOW somewhere on any project of your choice!
*** Link your project up to Mr. Linky, then leave a comment!
*** Deadline for this challenge will be on Wed, June 8th!
*** ONE project per person please!
Here is my card I made using one of my FAVORITE cartridges "Walk in My Garden"! For my sentiment I used my favorite stamp set "THIS & THAT"! I just LOVE this stamp set because it has a variety of "must have" sentiments in it that you can use everyday! Cardstock & twine is from Papertrey Ink & that cute pattern paper I picked up from Joann's is from a stack from DCWV called "Lemon Flower" 4x6 matstack! (you can see it in my video) That cute little clear ornament is called a "Facets" from Tim Holtz! You can find these HERE at Peachy Keen stamps! I just LOVE it because it can dress up a super simple card like this one & give it a "classy" look w/o it looking like a christmas tree!!;) lol..... Isn't my snail's face just BEAUTIFUL? Yep, if you guessed it right, it is a Peachy face! I used PK-493 "Everyday Character Face Parts & More" face stamp!
Here is a close up of the sentiment from "This & That" in the CUTE tim holtz ornament that you can find @ Peachy Keen Stamps HERE!
Here is my video showing you how I made my cute snail card!
Now onto my FABULOUS Design Team!
Here is the talented Miss Ruthie's layout using my favorite stamp set "CAMERA SHY"! Isn't her layout just ADORABLE?? WOW! I just love it!
Next we have the talented Miss Katie! OMG! She actually used another one of my favorites "THIS & THAT" stamp set! I think her card is super "SLEEK" & "CLASSY"!
Now onto the talented Miss Cathryn! She used my fun stamp set called "HAVE FUN IN THE SUN"! Not only is this stamp set for summer, but you can use it also for when you scrapbook your vacations as well!!! I just LOVE how her card came out! It is PERFECTO!;)
Here is the one & only, Miss Nikki's FABULOUS card! She used "Happy Homecoming" for hers today!!! I actually designed this special set w/my Bestie in mind & I just LOVE what she did with it!!! Miss Nikki, NEVER disapoints!!!;)
Thank you SOOO MUCH for stopping by! Don't forget to head on over to my design team's blogs to leave them some love as well! I can wait to see what everyone comes up w/this fun challenge!;) Have a FABULOUS day my sweet friends!

ReplyDeleteLove all of the DT's projects! Thanks for the challenge, especially being able to use older carts.
ReplyDeleteI had so much fun with this challenge. I had to make two scrolls for my project in order to incorporate the green. One went on the project for the challenge. Then, I quickly changed my scroll to have a blue background with blue baker's twine to give for the actual card as his school colors are blue and yellow. Thanks for letting me play along.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like commenting is finally working again:) Your card is adorable. As always the DT did a great job with all the green and yellow projects. Very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma for another fun challenge. Love the little snail too. I always look forward to playing along! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun challenge. I pushed myself to only use different colors of green and yellow and white. Plus I tried an accordian fold card idea from a card idea book I had. Great projects by the DT for inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWoo Hoo... I finally got my design in, #50. I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed creating it. Thanks for such a wonderful challenge, once again Emma. Smooches... Felicia at scrapperinthemaking.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteThis was fun. The best thing about crafting is you never know where you wind up. I start with one idea and then you are off somewhere else. Love It.
