DAS Launches Apprenticeship Info Sessions During National Apprenticeship Week 2024

The California Division of Apprenticeship Standards(DAS) kicked off National Apprenticeship Week 2024 with a special webinar, Funding the Future: Scaling Registered Apprenticeship in California, to announce the second-round awardees of Apprenticeship Innovation Funding (AIF). The event showcased a dynamic panel of AIF awardees that discussed how AIF has helped them sustain and grow registered apprenticeships across emerging sectors, assisting Californians to gain a foothold in the industries of the future. This webinar also announced the launch of DAS Apprenticeship Info Sessions aimed to inspire more workforce development stakeholders to explore registered apprenticeship as a powerful tool for developing a highly skilled talent pool. The first DAS Apprenticeship Info Session will serve as a launchpad for a series of Apprenticeship Info Sessions that will demystify implementing registered apprenticeship programs, including navigating access to startup and formula funding for ongoing success.
