Endorsement Process

ENDORSEMENTS BY EQUALITYGIVING

eQualityGiving endorses candidates in Critical Equality Races where our network of donors can make a difference for LGBT equality. Endorsed candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

1. The race is either for the Presidency, for a Senate or House seat in the US Congress, or for Governor.
2. The candidate is the only pro-equality candidate in the race and is actively supportive of all goals to bring about LGBT legal equality.
3. The candidate's competitor(s) is/are anti-equality or not actively supportive of all pro-equality legislation.
4. The race is close (i.e. within 10 points in the polls).

 

To initiate the endorsement process, please download the appropriate one-page form listed below. The candidate should complete and sign it and send it to back to eQualityGiving as indicated on the form.

Once we receive the form, we will contact the campaign to arrange an interview.
