


April 14, 2012 (San Diego) -- There will be an evening of art, music and food to celebrate the culture and cuisine of Tijuana and Guadalupe Valley while viewing Mingei International Museum’s new exhibitions on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at the Balboa Park (Mingei International Museum).
The event will feature Baja Med food by chef Miguel Angel Guerrero, wines from Valle de Guadalupe, an exhibition of historical postcards from Tijuana, music performance by Bostich+Fussible from Nortec Collective, live demonstrations by Alejandro Martinez Peña, Maria Evangelina Rodriguez and other artists from the region.
During this event, the Museum’s store will host an all-day trunk show featuring handcrafted, socially responsible women’s clothing and other products from Oaxaca and Guadalupe Valley.
