This specimen is actually the fluorine-rich variety of richterite called fluorrichterite. Several crystals of this mineral protrude from a calcite matrix. Two of these crystals are double terminated. All of the crystals show minor dings, but the largest crystal is heavily damaged.

This piece consists of a massive chunk of Richterite. It is rough and uneven, showing no evidence of any crystal form or tendencies, and has a color that ranges between gray and deep blue. Its luster is dull, and it is opaque. There is no base or host rock present.
