Heath Bar Coffee Cake

- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 cups brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup white sugar shopping list
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- Place these in a bowl and mix well in an electric mixer. Take out 1/2 cup of this mixture to use for the topping. In the bowl with the remaining mixture in it, add the following and mix until all dry ingredients are moistened: shopping list
- 1 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 tsp. baking soda shopping list
- For the topping, add the following to the 1/2 cup of reserved mix: shopping list
- 5 oz. crushed Heath bars (roughly 1/4 inch square pieces) shopping list
- 1/4 chopped pecans shopping list
- Pour the batter into prepared baking dish and spread until even. Sprinkle the topping over the batter evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Slice into bars and serve shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch Pyrex® baking dish.
- Makes about 32 bars.

Heath Bars are my downfall. Isn't it fun to scrape the chocolate off with your front teeth, then chomp down on the toffee? Yummy!
